Later, whenever Crowley told this story, he always said it was the Christmas tree’s fault.
A faux fir tree, lavishly decorated and mounted on top of an oversized Roomba, it cruised the foyer of the theater before the house doors opened and then during the intermission, playing Christmas songs. Crowley found it slightly unsettling; trees, even fake ones, were supposed to stay stationary and quiet, not chase you down the hallway belting out “All I want for Christmas is you” like a drunk diva.
What happens if you add a singing tree robot to the theater foyer for The Nutcracker production? Minor mayhem and destruction, or heart-warming holiday magic? Why not both?

Summary
The year is 1852, and a clerk, newly appointed by Celestial Enterprises, is tasked to travel to the Oxfordshire village of Tadfield, to conclude some business with a Mr Aziraphale Prince.
Anthony J. Crowley is under the impression it will just be a short visit, and then he will return to London.
Prince, living in his Gothic Mansion, has other, more nefarious ideas, and will do anything he considers necessary to facilitate his requirements.

Summary
Two London snobs (accomplished professionals highly respected in their fields, thank you very much) are forced to stop and reconsider their life and career choices after a horrible summer. Strongly encouraged by their entourage to take a break and reconnect with nature, whatever that means, they find themselves on the same idyllic Scottish island by some strange twist of fate. New neighbours and temporary owners of two nearly identical cottages that are in desperate need of new plumbing and better kitchens, burned out actor Aziraphale and disgraced chef Crowley can’t stop running into each other.
Autumn on the Isle of Skye is rainy and lonely, and everyone needs some company. And if the company is so good that parting seems unbearable, it’s just part of the magic of the island, surely. Afterall, they only have one autumn.Series
