Summary
There's Shane, and there's Ilya, but there's also a baby.
This fic takes place right after Heated Rivalry episode 6, follows Ilya and Shane as they deal with an unplanned pregnancy without altering who they are. Ilya is still Ilya, and Shane is still Shane. The only difference is that Ilya is pregnant.
There are no ABO dynamics and Ilya is the one that is pregnant, opposed to the majority of mpreg fics in this fandom. This is a character-driven exploration of love, fear, and character realism with much higher stakes.

And you peeled them for me without me having to ask. He pops a piece into his mouth and realizes that the seeds have been carefully squeezed out, he feels his eyes well up with even more tears. I never even told you about this, I never told anyone about this. And somehow you knew.
“Well yes,” Ilya tells him, a confused smile on his face “You hate peeling them.”
