But hey, they're his family now, and he's prepared to go through whatever he has to to keep them safe. He's less prepared to be saddled with the care of his worst enemy. Even if the kid is more quiet and adorably determined than scary when he stops being angry. Even if he's careful with his bending around them and sounds desperately sad whimpering in his sleep. Even if he only knows who they are sometimes, and the rest of the time he's shy and sweet and gentle in a completely not-Zuko kind of way. They're breaking this Spirit curse and sending him back. They are not keeping him. Sokka is putting his foot down, and not allowing anyone to get attached.

It had been a normal patrol, naturally it couldn't stay that way. Batman and Robin unearthed something sinister, deep in the bowels of Gotham's sewers. With all hands on deck Batman and his sons wreck havoc through the Court of Owls, only to stumble upon the last Talon. Surrounded by the beheaded corpses of other Talons stands a small child-like Talon. Batman and Co. decide to bring him home, because somewhere deep inside is a child too stubborn to give up.
Yo this is the second entry to my Talon!Dick one-shots, as a reminder these one shots are NOT connected in anyway. If more is written for a certain story it will appear as a second chapter.
Also pardon the FNAF inspired title, I don't really know why but it just fits this fic really well.
