Summary
Harry Evans loved his sister Lily. He took being just a few minutes earlier than her very seriously in his role as a brother. Even before they were born, he always made sure his sister and mother were safe. It meant showing off his magic way too early, but he didn't care if it meant his family was safe. Growing up was an experience he never had before and was able to see a different side of Petunia Dursley nee Evans, he adored her nearly as much as his own twin. Attending Hogwarts with his sister (previously mother) was an experience in itself as he finally met his father from his previous life along with Sirius Black and Remus Lupin. Now maybe he can stop them from screwing up his and Lily's relationship with their best friend Severus. Of course, being in this time period also meant he could dismantle Voldemort before he really amassed followers, well that was just a side-effect of being born a generation early.

Summary
“Malfoy, we have to slow it down!” Harry yells over the growing racket of the time turner. Harry’s not sure how, exactly, they’re going to do that, but they have to try. Malfoy looks at him wildly, and hesitates for only a second before grabbing his arm.
Harry looks uncomprehendingly at Malfoy’s hand on his arm. “We’ll be stronger together!” Malfoy shouts. Oh. Right. The spell. Harry points his wand at the time turner, along with Malfoy. “Finite Incantatum!”
The time turner only seems to grow stronger. A bright light begins to glow out from the center of the device, reaching its edges over to Harry and Malfoy.
The last thing Harry sees is Malfoy’s worried face, and then darkness.

This is why for his 18th birthday Hermione recommends (demands) they go muggle camping in the beautiful American Northwest. But he is still Harry Potter and even a simple camping trip can lead to time travel, death, and mischief.
Note:
Quick warning, I do break things more before I fix them. The Battle of Hogwarts was a lot worse in this fic than it was in the canon, more characters have died than in the canon. #SorryNotSorry I feel like the Golden Trio wouldn’t be willing to possibly throw away their lives without a very good motivation. The first two nights, Harry sleeps like the dead— or, well, maybe that's not the best comparison, given the number of inferi attacks reported lately.
He sleeps like a log. Like a dead log. An un-re-animated dead log. From an everyday, inanimate, non-whomping tree.
After that, Harry wakes up screaming more nights than not, and he even cries on the bad ones, which makes James cry too. In this regard, James reckons that his first week of parenting a full-grown teenage adult bears an awful lot of resemblance to parenting a newborn baby. He feels both blessed and terrifyingly out of his depth.
