Summary
Siffrin has craved blood for as long as they can remember. After so many years of wandering, he's come to Vaugarde in hope of finding answers, just as the King's Curse begins freezing the country in time. He's quickly losing hope, but when they come across a small group determined to save Vaugarde from the King, Siffrin decides to join them. They can't get the answers they want if the country gets frozen in time, after all. They'd never traveled with other people before. Siffrin doesn't expect to grow attached to any of them, but as time goes on, the thought of leaving them hurts more and more. Worse yet, they refuse to even entertain the thought of one of them discovering what he is and what he's done. They just know that if they find out, they'll hate them.

When Connor and Markus entered the room, a look of relief flashed across his face for a moment. His eyes were a stunning blue color and Connor almost missed his words with how enraptured by them he was.
“You the doctor?” Hank signed and spoke at the same time, his body turned slightly toward the hospital bed while his eyes remained on Connor.

His siblings are tired of seeing him mope around, and devise a plan to summon the perfect love for Dirk; his soulmate, if you believe in that sort of thing.
Jake English is quite the force to be reckoned with, despite the fact that he's certain he possesses no magic. He’s incredibly positive without meaning to be, and alarmingly charming for someone with no charm spells at their disposal. Not to mention he’s devilishly attractive and Dirk is a sucker for those bright eyes under those dark bangs. Something in the way Jake walks and talks and acts has Dirk thinking that this man was literally made for him.
Is this apparent tulpa just a figment of his imagination, a machination of the magic done by his siblings, or could Jake really be Just That Perfect? -

Jon nods even though she can’t see him. He cannot wait to see what threads he can spin between the tight knit group that will be the archival team. He kicks his ankles back and forth in the air, tracing the pattern of his comforter with his freshly manicured nails

Phil was a normal mortal detective assigned to a small town with barely any police let alone murder case detectives. He was tasked with finding the culprit behind a string of homicides that have been taking place. He thought the job would be easy. But when a strange woman and her three children appear in town, his job turns from a simple murder cases to one about God's and Demons. Showing just how far a mortal will go for preservation.
