Es war nicht Cottas Absicht drei ungezogene Jungen zu adoptieren, aber manchmal entschied das Leben ganz von alleine.
Wenn man Cotta vor ein paar Jahren gesagt hätte, er würde drei Jungen im Teenageralter aufnehmen, hätte er wahrscheinlich laut losgelacht. Aber seine Haare wurden grauer jeden Tag und die drei Fragezeichen hingen in seinem Leben wie lästige Kletten.
Dreimal, als Inspektor Cotta eine Vaterfigur darstellte und einmal, als die drei Fragezeichen es selber realisierten.
