The Gregory House. The man with the limp, the infarction, the leg pain and Vicodin addiction and sarcastic mood. The one who bites and snarls at anyone daring to come close, the one who hates the practical aspect of humans, the same one Wilson had been friends with for… years. The same Gregory House who had no soulmate, who’s string had disappeared long before he tried his hand at dating non-soulmate people, who Wilson tried to pretend he wasn’t desperately, hopelessly in love with.
They’d kissed. And just then, in House’s apartment with their faces just inches from each other, that same Gregory House had gained a soulmate.

Riz falls to his knees and shakes his head, looking down at the grass.
He had the same thought, months ago. He begged and pleaded with his dad, with gods, with anyone who would listen, to let him go back. He wasn’t done on the Material Plane. He had more life to live.
His dad said he could be made a field angel. That was the best he would get and Riz took the offer. It meant that he could observe the living, at the very least, and start to interact with the world once he got more stable.

“And the sponsorships?” Adaine asks, throwing her hand in the air. “They can pay for things to help us, right?”
“Yes, yes, this is, above all else, a fundraiser,” Aguefort says and Riz frowns. He thought this was, above all else, a chance for him to raise his GPA in the last few moments of sophomore year. “If your friends, family, et cetera, want to sponsor you, they can spend real gold to send you real weapons, tools, supplies, anything! Though it won’t be cheap so don’t expect much.”

Summary
If you could choose a world to be isekaied into, you probably wouldn't choose the videogame Age of Tales.
It's a painfully generic medieval RPG with a very generic "farm boy becomes a hero" storyline. Or farmgirl, if you go that route. There's some moral choices, but overall the story is very linear from start to finish, and no matter how evil you try to play it, the game inevitably ends with the chosen farmboy (or girl) saving the world. Age of Tales has a very generic cast of characters with very generic backstories, even more generic villains with very basic evil plots, and side quests right out of early free to play mmorpgs. Overall the game is just very… mid.
Upon release the game was a massive flop.
And Katie has happily sunk nearly six hundred hours into it.

Summary
One year after Voldemort killed Lily and James Potter, Severus Snape pays a visit to Number 4 Privet Drive. He has a duty to Lily Evans, the best friend he ever had, and therefore to her son and her sister. He finds himself assuming the role of the child's uncle. As it happens, the friendship between Severus Snape and Petunia Dursley changes both of them, both of their lives, Hogwarts, and their world's future for the better. (It's so much easier to be a good person when you're not clinically depressed, afraid for your family, or stuck in your past trauma).
This is a lengthy story meandering through Harry's childhood, with eventual plans to see it through his Hogwarts years and a very different resolution to canon. But in the meantime, the goal is cuteness and exploring a world with better-adjusted adults in it.

It took a few moments, but soon enough the door opened, revealing a young man wearing heavily plaster-spattered clothes and a battered pair of glasses. He blinked at them, eyebrows rising high enough to be hidden by his truly unruly mess of hair. “Um- hello?”
“Good morning! I’m Molly Weasley, from the house up the hill - this is my son, Percy.” She offered a bright smile, and held out the basket of preserves. “I’m sorry we didn’t pop round to say hello sooner, but I only just noticed you’d moved in yesterday!”
“Oh. No, that- that’s fine, we haven’t been here very long,” the young man said, awkwardly accepting the basket and just... staring at it in his hand. After a pause, he cleared his throat, looking back up to meet her expectant gaze. “I’m- Jorey. Jorey Hatter. Would you like to come in?”
A small pair of eyes peered around Jorey’s knees, and Molly let her smile soften. “We’d love to. Is there anything I could help with?”
