“Yeah, big building with the A on it,” Bucky says, and can’t help a big stupid grin. Steve stares at him, looking a little dazed, and after their whole conversation it’s only now that Bucky’s brain catches up and realises Steve finds him quite attractive. So. Win for Bucky.
“Let me get your number,” Steve says finally, after they’ve stared stupidly at each other for about three hours, taking out his phone.
So they exchange numbers, and then Steve says he should go, and Bucky agrees, and they kind of stare at each other for a bit more, then Steve actually does go, but not before taking Bucky’s hand and squeezing it warmly in a way that makes Bucky want to shiver all over. Then Steve is gone, and Bucky is standing alone in the alley, grinning to himself.
Right up until the moment he remembers that Steve thinks Bucky is an escort he’s just hired.

We don’t need anyone but us, Eddie. Venom’s voice in his head sounds deeper and fuller somehow as a tendril slides out of his shoulder, plucks the Hawaiian shirt out of his hands, and shoves it back onto the hanger. We are the best and other people are losers.
“I’m a loser,” Eddie mumbles, as the same black tendril pulls a white v-neck t-shirt out of a drawer and drops it into his hands. “Shouldn’t I spend time with other losers?”
You are special. The tendril digs into the closet again. Put that on.
Eddie shrugs and pulls the t-shirt on. Venom occasionally insists that they be allowed to dress Eddie and he never really fights it. Actually, it’s kind of nice to have someone make the decision for him and then purr in his head about how good he looks.
OR
Eddie Brock and Venom are still on the lam, living in a studio apartment in a fishing town. Now that they are away from San Francisco and no one is trying to kill them, their relationship slowly starts to change.

Claire had thought that her experience in Raccoon City had been traumatising, but after saving Leon from the Tyrant, she realises that nothing in Raccoon could compare to what she had saved her friend from. She's sure that her trauma of witnessing it could never compare to Leon's suffering, and sometimes, she isn't sure if she asked for her brother's help for herself, or for Leon.
Chris, haunted by his own experience in the Arklay Mountains, isn't so sure of Claire's request. And Leon...
Leon doesn't even remember how to function outside of the trauma and the influence of the T-Virus.

At first, Chris thought it was a joke, a mindless prank that was being played on him, but Jill confirmed it to him that Piers Nivans had, indeed, gone missing. He didn't believe that Piers went missing, the man was too skilled, too talented to be M.I.A., there's no possible way Piers had either been captured or, even worse, killed.
For months, Chris, Jill, Rebecca, and even Claire- after Chris had called her and told her the situation- searched for the missing hazel-eyed man, but each search ended up short, given the premises that they had no idea where to search. Each day, Chris's mood turned sour, but not too much that he would snap at those around him, just sour enough that he no longer acted the way he did before Piers went missing.
Though, the one thing that always greeted him when he got back home, something that had only happened in this wet fall month of August, was this medium-sized Shiba Inu with golden fur all over its body, except for the patches of white fur on its underbelly, chest, and all the way to its cheeks.
