Before, it wouldn’t be a challenge. The Jetiise were everywhere, roaming the galaxy and fighting the Separatists.
Now though, they are the only people the Empire hunts more viciously than the Mandalorians.
Arriving on Coruscant to work a job that is supposed to fund his mission, Jango hears a story of so-called Angel of the Underworld, a semi-legendary, magical being who helps people in the Coruscant’s lower levels. He decides to investigate.
He also meets Ben, a red-headed thief/barman/bouncer with more secrets than your average ISB agent. And, as more and more of them come to light, Jango becomes convinced that there might be more to Ben than meets the eye.***

Jango is his grumpy self, but instead of hating the Jedi, he hates the Empire (they did blow up his planet), and Obi-Wan, Order 66 survivor, is making ends meet in the bowels of Coruscant, protecting a bunch of adorable Jedi younglings that he managed to smuggle out of the Temple. However, Healer Che gently tells him that he should consider giving into his instincts instead, because giving birth to a child would satisfy his mating instincts for at least a decade. All Stewjoni Jedi are granted a rare exception to the Order’s ban on marriage and procreation, so having a child wouldn’t put Obi-Wan’s Jedi training in jeopardy. Desperate to subdue his mating instincts, Obi-Wan decides to take Healer Che’s advice. He lets the Force guide him and has an anonymous encounter with a handsome bounty hunter. Months later, Obi-Wan visits a memorial for a “deceased” prince and realizes he’s carrying the new heir to the Mandalorian throne.

Alpha huffed as the translation came up with a string of letters that made no sense, cursing the program for not knowing the slang that most planets used, only for it to click so suddenly it turned his stomach.
It didn’t say BDMM.
It was BDSM.
Alpha’s face twisted into a snarl as he realized his wayward charge was.
The moment that Alpha realizes just why Obi-Wan keeps slipping from the ship, he's faced with an Opsec nightmare. He can't ensure the safety of his Commander if his commander insists on compromising his own safety within the walls of shady BDSM clubs on planets outside of the Republic's territory.

Fett freezes, his hold loosening, and shoves away from him as if burned, getting to his feet. Obi-Wan coughs, looks up to where the man is watching him with some strange mix of emotion. His shields are exceptionally strong, for a null.
“There is no Mand’alor,” Fett says finally, and walks right out of the room.
(Or: 15-year-old Jedi Padawan Anakin Skywalker crash-lands on Kamino on the one day a cycle when the seas are calm and the storms abate. At the time, he doesn’t think much of it. Later—much later—he will come to see it as an omen.)
