With a sharp inhale, Corbeau instantly recognized their packaging as his preferred brands as well, and maybe he was too far gone in his exhaustion, for the boss to start seeing things that were not there— like his oldest friend having an inkling that he was on the brink of fainting and buying his medicine on the way back to check up on him was equivalent to Philippe entrusting his heart to Corbeau.
Or: When Corbeau was at the brink of exhaustion after pulling several all-nighters in a short period, Philippe unexpectedly came to the rescue not just by offering his boss' preferred medicine in hand, but his heart, too.

Summary
In the aftermath of Lumiose being saved, Harmony settles into a rhythm of joining in the Infinite Z-A Royale and battling against her friends and allies, though the compiled stress from saving the world left Harmony in biological limbo, having not gone into heat in a while. When battling Philippe, she's struck down by a sudden emergency heat, and even though she knows Philippe and Corbeau are mated, she can't help but cling to the large, kind alpha as he drags her into the Rust Syndicate Headquarters so not as to attract unwanted attention.
Corbeau isn't too pleased when he sees them, though the situation soon changes as Harmony finds herself being tended to by the both of them, Corbeau's command over the situation clear.

However, his most favorite change of all is rooted in something a little mean-spirited, a little cruel, in that Corbeau can’t help but delight in how much Philippe loathes the cold.

Corbeau loved every single member of the Rust Syndicate, he really, truly did. It's just, he loved one member of the Rust Syndicate more than all the rest. A lot more than the rest. He told himself he would never play favorites, but that was rather hard to do when his favorite member had him bent over his own desk.
