    She found herself once again staring down the Parker kid in her office. It was a familiar scene. He was curled into the sagging armchair she’d scooped off the curb, feet scuffing against his duffel bag on the floor, arms hunched over the backpack in his lap. Over the past two months and six moves, the boy had quietly trimmed down all of his possessions to fit in those two bags.

    “What,” said Rhee, “the fuck.”

    Peter shrugged, defensive.

    If someone had told her three months ago that this doe-eyed white boy with his cheerful geekery and his pathological adherence to respectful forms of address would be one of her most troublesome cases, she would have laughed them out of the room. Now, she wasn’t laughing.

    He took a deep breath and stood up, reminding himself that he wasn't there anymore, Skip was in jail and couldn't get him. He was safe.

    Peter Parker ended up in the care of one Skip Westcott after his aunt died 8 months ago. Skip abuses him and after 7 months of abuse at the hands of who is supposed to be his caretaker, he's ready to end his life. Now, Tony Stark is known for being fashionably late, but in this case, however, he's got perfect timing.

    It all started with the stupid game.

    "Who has the darkest Backstory?" Clint clears up. I nearly choke on my coffee.
    "Not funny Clint. He’s exaggerating.” Natasha swats his arm.
    "That sounds awful why would you play a game like that?" I reasonably respond. Clint opens his mouth to speak when Mr. Stark jumps in.
    "Because we're bored, and quite honestly Pepper suggested it for like team-building exercises or whatever in light of everything that's happened. It's supposed to be a therapeutic or something like that, but I don't question what the lady wants... She's always right you know." He chuckles, then takes a breath.

    "So... You wanna play kid?"

    That question messed me up, because I know who wins that argument.
    If only I had known then, that was far from worst of it.

    WARNING: This is an extremely dark piece of work which is just constantly hurting Peter Parker over and over in many ways. It get's very violent and graphic and I missed some tags, so caution NSFW.

    This is basically retelling stories that canonically happened to Peter with a dark twist, plus new stories I made up for more trauma, as well as my interpretation of Peter Parker's future.

    This time it was Tony who stepped closer and took her hand, his warm palm slipping into her clammy one. “Say he can stay. Please. Look, Morgan’s already in love with the kid, and he’s got nowhere else to go. He’s living in some sleazy apartment with barely any food in the fridge, and I don’t think he’s talked to anyone besides us in the past few months who actually gives a damn about his existence. No one else knows him, Pep. He’s all alone.”

    She put a hand on Tony’s shoulder. “Looks like I’ll be making dinner for four tonight.”

    After the events of the last story, Peter is back at the Lake Cabin. However, as he is soon to find out, his problems are far from over, and his healing has just begun.
