Clark . . . pauses, then looks up from the kid that he is currently pinning into the street as said kid struggles underneath him.
"'Hurt him'?" he asks in reflexive confusion, and then realizes how batting a teenager around like a person-shaped cat toy and pinning him to the street hard enough to crack it probably actually looks to an outside observer.
. . . um.
Whoops.
"Um," he starts awkwardly, and then the kid slips his pin while he's distracted and throws his arms around his neck with a gleeful laugh and a bright grin.
"Dad!" he crows triumphantly, and hugs Clark harder than literally anyone has ever hugged him before.

Unsurprisingly, as it is eight in the morning, it goes to voicemail. Damian waits impatiently for the beep. “Richard,” he says, in tones of the deeply suffering, “this place is a hostile environment. I must be collected post-haste, as after this latest indignity I am dropping out. Come at once, or I may die here.”
The dynamic duo attend a parent-teacher conference. No one has a good day.

Summary

So he might have, at some point, tried to figure out an OC for Mobei-jun to
ship wfuck. Dude was so perfect, it was a shame his dump truck ass and sequoia thighs remained unembraced.(Also the whole "he's so mysterious and never opens up and unveils his deep thoughts and tender feelings except for me" fantasy but never mind all that.)He'd gone exactly as far as 'Meeting: why tf would he notice anyone. Enemies to lovers? No wait hed kill them straight away. Dashing rescue? Why does he need a rescue he's too cool and basically untrappable anyway, what are they rescuing him from socializing with his cousins lmao???' on his notes before giving up on making it realistic. The next scribble was 'cuz i said so ok next'.
There had been no 'next'. His battery had died and when he managed to get home and get his laptop plugged in it was time for another word vomit on the topic of Bing-ge's meat truncheon.

Peter, fresh out of his multiversal escapades, gains a new perspective in life. One that includes a certain mouthy mercenary, perhaps?

“Want me to turn it up so we can both listen? I don’t feel like putting the record on right now.”
“Yes, please.”
There’s some shuffling, the snap of Bill punching down the play button, and then the soft, tinny sound of “Seaside Rendezvous” playing from his headphones.
They lapse into another silence, as “Seaside Rendezvous” eventually bleeds into “The Prophet’s Song” and then, of course, “Love Of My Life.” As the tape plays, and Bill continues to gently pet Ted’s hair, Ted realizes that he’s about to fall asleep like this: sprawled across Bill’s bed, still clad in his Pretzels ’N Cheese uniform, Freddie Mercury crooning through the Walkman and into his ear, clock barely pushing 6:30. He thinks about shaking off the sleepiness and throwing himself into the shower, like he should’ve done in the first place, but the soothing motion of Bill’s fingers combing through his hair and the warmth of his bed is a stronger call than the call of getting their night properly started.
Or, Ted starts to notice how often he finds an excuse to get in Bill's bed, and then never really gets around to getting back out of it
