Summary
Dr. Quirrel Miller is a normal psychologist, working at a normal institute for children who need some extra assistance. However, a call from a police station leads to a series of events that flips his life upside down, as well as introduces him to a whole new world of darkness, light, and vengeful divinity that puts his own world in grave danger. He gets dragged into a conflict that shouldn’t have involved him in the first place. People are acting strange and the kids are the only ones who seem to know why.
Faced with an unwanted burden he cannot free himself of, Quirrel vows to get to the bottom of this—even if the truth is hard to swallow.

As much as it would sting her pride, the child’s incessant bawling has tested her mother’s limits enough today.
