Life on the high seas suits Geralt just fine. As a pirate captain with his brothers behind him, there isn't much that gets under his skin. Jaskier is the exception.
Loud and flashy, Jaskier is the foil to Geralt's strong and silent persona. Jaskier isn't intimidated like the rest of the world. In fact, Jaskier seems almost drawn to Geralt like a moth to a flame- Geralt can't escape the young captain and his flirtations, denying that he feels the pull, too.
