Much to Johnny's annoyance, V almost exclusively fucks men. Not that there's anything wrong with that, he would say, if V wouldn't mock him mercilessly for being so pedestrian. V likes them tall, with dark hair and broad shoulders. Johnny doesn't miss the cosmic mockery of it all when V bangs dudes that look an awful lot like him, and neither does V [...]
Today, mercifully, V feels like staying in for the night, and none of his phone contacts or their photos entice him. He's nursing a bruised ego and some nasty road rash from earlier that day, during a job, where a fall from his motorbike had skinned part of his leg, hand, and almost ruined his pretty face. Despite all that, V had still had the energy to flirt relentlessly with Vik while being patched up.
But Vik hadn't taken the bait, so now he's home alone, bored and restless.

Summary
Snapback - or whatever - says George hit his head “really freaking hard, dude,” against the pavement rollerblading. Not that he himself can remember the event, or anything really. Well, he knows he really likes twinkies, but that doesn't count because he just discovered that when Dream (fitting nickname) blasted into his hospital room carrying an entire English corner shop in his giant arms.
The first thing George does is to check his photos, where he finds a rather… incriminating picture. Second thing he does is to touch his throat because he feels like he can’t breathe - and feels a cold delicate metal chain resting there. He saw - no he knows - that on Dream’s defined Adam's apple - lay a very similar one.
Right now he is sure of only three things;
One: He likes twinkies.
Two: Backpack will argue with him on anything and lose every time.
And three: Dream is his husband.
Naturally.

“Bitch, what is this?” The blonde turned his nose up at the miniature shot glass, utterly offended.
Techno raised an eyebrow at Wilbur, who only leaned over the counter and pushed the shot glass closer to the newcomer. “Try it, I want to make sure you can handle it before I serve you the whole round.”
“How old do you think I am?” The kid scowled, but Wilbur just smirked.
“Mm, twelve maybe. Isn’t it past your bedtime?”
Phil snickered, and Tommy spluttered out offense. “I’m eighteen, dickhead. I can handle a- whatever this is. A Bloody Mary?”
Techno scoffed. “Sure, why don’t you try it?”
Tommy scowled, picking up the glass and absolutely downing it, using his other hand to flip Wilbur off.
It didn’t last very long, his eyes widened significantly and he blinked down at the empty glass.
“That’s not tomato juice.”or
Wilbur runs a bar, but has two regulars that he makes something a little more special for.

Summary
They were hungry all of the time now, and only very rarely do they get their fill. Wilbur, he could live without food. He was in his late teens, and he knew how to make food stretch. Tommy was just a baby, a toddler to be exact.
He was so little when the zombie apocalypse started, and his mom made him promise that he'd protect Tommy with his life. Three years later, Wilbur would argue he's doing what he can. Tommy was a thin little thing, nothing what a four year old should look like. He doesn't have any baby fat, and Wilbur wasn't fairing well either.

Summary
The claws on Phil’s fingers could probably shred Wilbur’s skin to ribbons. Instead though, his touch was as light as could be as he cupped Wilbur’s face, thumb brushing his stinging cheek.
The scales were rough, but didn’t scratch him. If anything, his hand was blessedly cool against the heat on his face.
“Why is only this part of your face red?” Phil asked, his voice low.
Wilbur couldn’t remember the last time someone had cupped his face like this. The last time anyone had been gentle like this with him. It took all of his willpower not to melt into Phil’s hand.
“One of them hit me,” Wilbur admitted softly.
or, Wilbur is the cabin boy on a pirate ship, at least until the ship sinks and he's left marooned on a deserted island. It's just him, the few others that survived the wreck, and the waves to keep them company. Well, and the merman. Because apparently those things are real.
or or, being marooned on an island isn't too bad when you get a found family out of it.

“Who let you two in?” The general breaths, his voice hardly above a whisper. He reaches forward, his hands shaking just slightly and far away enough that it seems like he’s not sure what to do with them. Wilbur’s heart beats a mile a minute in his chest and panic claws at his throat, closing it up and making it hard to breathe.
“I enlisted, sir.” Wilbur mumbles, barely loud enough to hear but the general flinches back as if Wilbur had shouted at him.
“You enlisted?” He parrots, confusion lacing his tone. “And they allowed you in?”
or
Wilbur enlists in the army as a last resort for him and his little brother and finds out very quickly how bad of an idea that was, especially when Tommy decides that leaving Wilbur and wondering around a military camp is an excellent use of his time.

Phil tries to ignore the kid, he does, because war is unforgiving, but he can't escape him. They keep getting assigned together, and the kid isn't afraid. It should be annoying. Phil should scare him away. He doesn't.
He can't.
Phil will show his fangs and the kid will laugh at him. Bloodshed doesn't bother him, and violence intrigues him. He keeps challenging Phil. Sometimes, Phil will win, of course. But then the kid will think up some insane plot during the next battle and pull ahead. It's almost fun. It's terrifying. He's afraid that the child will start to mean something.
