Summary
In the aftermath of Tamari's psychosis, where he has attempted to commit quantum suicide in search for a world where he is finally loved, he still has questions that need to be answered. Where does he go? What does he do? And what if, maybe, the world he was searching for was the one he'd already occupied?
This fanfiction seeks to explore Tamari's interpersonal relationships over the course of multiple chapters. It's a story about what living within a broken family means for one who was born and socialized within a collectivist society.

It was always going to happen eventually.
Jayce Talis had known it from the moment his Viktor had stepped away, inching out of his grasp like an idiot. But Jayce had hoped. God, how he hoped. He had told himself that this, whatever this thing that Viktor was growing into would pass. That it would be nothing more than a mistake— something boys dabbled in. After all, Viktor had always been his.
Their bond had been his truth. Their little world, woven from the early days of childhood, of shared breath and hours alone, was theirs. Viktor had been his first and only love, and Jayce had never asked for anything more. Jayce was content with the way things were.
Then Dimitri came into the picture.

The other man gasps when Jayce wraps his arms around him in a hug, but then he folds down around him in a hug just as strong but twice as desperate.
“You're so young. You're so young,” he whispers into the top of his head, and Jayce doesn't bring attention to the tears he can feel dripping onto his hair. He knows he would hate it being pointed out himself. The hug could last one minute or ten for as much as he knows, but when the older finally draws himself away Jayce just… looks at him.

In which instead of going back to when he departed his timeline, Jayce is thrown much further back by accident. This will change everything, but it changes the most for our dynamic Hextech duo.

They are both in dire need of an outlet for stress. Viktor has something of a reputation among the student body as a merciless sadistic fiend; but thankfully, Jayce seems to find relief in pain.
Not everything proceeds as imagined. Hextech may or may not survive in one piece.

Follow his struggles as he tries to get back home, while discovering some of the less noble acts his other self committed, and see as Viktor tries to handle the strange new man masquerading as his partner.
