Summary
Hunter’s eyes burned holes into the pamphlets his therapist dropped on the desk.
“It’s called age regression,” Dr. Maheswaran stated plainly. Hunter couldn’t look her in the eyes. They had been going over recent changes in the year since they won against Belos: how he’d started to curl into himself, became clingier around older figures, speak less with a combined limited vocabulary, and, most prominently, begun to feel like the world is too large for him to exist in. When prompted on the closest non-traumatic memory he has that ties into that trend, his reply was, after a long pause, a quiet, “waiting for Belos to give me medical attention post-sparring at six years old.”
He didn’t have a good childhood, he’s well aware. But that doesn’t mean that he ever expected this would be the result of it.

Summary
The kid spoke into her shirt, breaking her out of her own head and keeping her from figuring out what in the world could be wrong.
Pulling him away softly (not too far, she’s not trying to convince him she didn’t want the hug. Titan she would never tell the kid he couldn’t get a hug with how hard it was for him to ask), she very gently lifted his head. “What was that kiddo-? Something wrong?”
It didn’t look like it. The kid was still grinning. And the usual hesitance behind his eyes was gone, he even pushed himself back into Eda’s arms before shaking his head against her. The boy was giggling into her shirt like a little kid and Eda was starting to believe someone had actually cursed this child.
“Mm-mm! Jus-” He stumbled over his tongue for a second, clearly struggling to find the words he wanted. “Jus- Wan’ed mama.”
Welp. Does it really matter what's going on when her kid is that damn cute-?
TLDR - Hunter is small and decides he wants his mama. Pancakes and love ensue.

Summary
The human realm is very different, but not as dangerous as the boiling isles. It definitely is strange though.
Hunter is learning about what life has to offer, and it is lovely - friends, family, the joy of being free as yourself. He wants to protect everyone.
But strong brothers needs hugs too.
Luz is trying to figure out how to deal with her guilt and grief, whilst balancing being the person she thinks she has to be.Jacob and Masha are trying to keep Gravesfield safe and Belos is lurking in the shadows scheming. Kikimora is here too!

Summary
Luz Noceda stumbles into the demon realm at seven, and the world of canon changes in one significant way. The Golden Guard Hunter gains a younger sister, and the human Luz Noceda-Clawthorne gets an older brother. They are real siblings, though they'd never admit it, so when Luz discovers Hunter is covered in scars, she (naturally) blames herself and hatches a plan to show him how his life should be.
In a nutshell, hunting palismen happens six years early. Hunter gets a heroic, insane, cheerful little sister he'd follow just about anywhere (if only because he's worried she might get hurt,) and Luz has a nerdy, level-headed, grumpy brother she loves him all the more for those things. He pretends he doesn't care (but she knows he does,) and when she figures out someone hurt him, she decides kidnapping him is his best shot at happiness.
