I wasted weeks of my life frankensteining together a python monstrosity to write fics from fanfiction.net and spacebattles into a dinky PDF, only to stumble across this literally the day after I finally got it working. This is much better and works for more websites! I am frustrated but also delighted!!!
In all seriousness though, this brings the ease of the Ao3 download button to a lot of fanfiction websites that I can say, from PAINFUL EXPERIENCE, are not formatted in a way that makes that easy

Thank GOD, I hate how short the linebreaks are on Ao3 by default lksjdflkjsd
(Had an issue using ".hr", but everything worked great when I tried "hr" instead. Which turns out to be because my dumb ass failed at reading comprehension and didn't change the linebreaks to have "hr" as a class, but oh well, this works too. Plus it lets you do this:
hr {
width: 95% !important;
}
Which seems to work in site skins as well, so you can change the linebreaks in every fic to suit your preference) -
