Summary
As he walked across the rooftop, he almost missed the figure standing at the edge, practically offering himself to the void below. He couldn't figure who it was but his senses exploded like earlier before the announcement of the Pitt Fest. Without thinking, Dennis shot a web that stuck to the man’s back, pulling him backward against the barrier, away from danger.
“What the fuck?!” the man cursed, now clinging tightly to the railing.
“That wasn’t a good idea, sir. You wouldn’t survive a fall like that—even from the top of a hospital.” He couldn't hear his own words, his heartbeat was too loud.
The man turned to face him, and for a moment his lungs forgot to breathe, the sirens in his head had gone silent because he recognized the familiar face of his mentor, Dr. Robinavitch. When Robby realized who he was dealing with, he let out a small, hollow laugh.

Dr. Robby develops a weird attraction for Spider-man after he saved him from jumping off the roof of the Pitt after the events of the PittFest. What he ignores is that his savior’s identity is actually Dennis Whitaker, his shy new student doctor.

“You can be.” It sounds so easy, from Dennis’s lips. Robby knows better.
“I can’t, Whitaker,” Robby asserts, wishing he could show Dennis just how impossible it was. Robby had tried everything. He’d performed teshuvah in every way he’d learned how; reciting Selichot until his voice gave out, fasting for days on end, visiting the river and chucking breadcrumbs into the murky depths like there was enough water on earth to wash his mistakes away.
“Yes, you can.”
OR
Upon going to Robby's house to pick up his spare key and bit the other man farewell for his sabbatical, Dennis finds Robby in an emotionally vulnerable state. Thankfully for them both, some seminary lessons actually do pay off.EDITED to fit season 2 episode 10

Summary
The apocalypse had begun seven weeks ago, and, since the city fell, Robby had been travelling alone, barely surviving. His days as a doctor were gone, left behind with the dead, with Jake, with everyone he loved. Now, he was hanging onto life by sheer will that was fading daily; starving, exhausted, barely more alive than the Infected hunting him.
Until he stumbles across the Whitaker Farm and is taken in temporarily by a strange family consisting of a mother and her four sons, the youngest of whom catches Robby's interest quickly.

The entire department is very aware on how much Robby favors the blond haired, blue-eyed intern, Dennis Whitaker. Robby refuses to admit it so the department is on a full scale operation to make him realize it.
