Summary
Recently, Peter has been genuinely considering telling Wade who he is out of the suit. The thought doesn’t scare him as much as he thought it would. When his aunt May passed away a few years ago, Deadpool was there for him through it all. He took Peter’s patrols when he was too depressed to, gave Peter space when he needed it, invaded it when necessary, and let Peter crash at his for a few months. Those few months were enough to make Peter realize that he trusted Deadpool wholeheartedly.
There is something holding Peter back, though.
It’s that Peter’s current life is just kind of pathetic, and Peter doesn’t want Deadpool seeing him that way. Deadpool likes to theorize about what Peter does for work, since he’s “So smart for a smartass”. Oftentimes, what he guesses are way above what Peter could possibly achieve at the moment. He also thinks that Peter lives in a nice apartment somewhere uptown. Something with lots of sunlight and expensive furniture. All of these scenarios were wrong, of course. They couldn’t be further from the truth if they tried. So, he'll hold off on telling Deadpool who he is until Peter gets his life together.
That is until Deadpool crashed into Peter Parker's life unexpectedly.

'You will forget all that you hold dear,' the sorcerer had vowed before he attacked Arthur, leaving his patrol dead and Arthur achingly thankful that for once, Merlin hadn’t been with him. Well, and he is quite certain that he hasn’t forgotten anything.
As it turns out, everyone else has; specifically about him, and that Camelot is supposed to have a crown prince.
When Merlin stumbles across him by chance, Arthur should be relieved. And he would be, really—if he hadn’t just been stabbed, and found out that Merlin has magic while he was at it. That Merlin does not remember who he is, either.
It all gets a lot more complicated from there on out as Arthur tries to keep his own secrets, deal with the revelations about Merlin, and find a way not only to restore Camelot's memories, but protect it against the threats gathering on the horizon, too.
When it rains, it pours; sometimes, the aftermath might just be worth it.

Summary
Merlin hated when nobles came to visit.
All serving staff in the castle hated it. It created so much extra work, pompous nobles feeling entitled to interrupt anyone and send them running for their own benefit instead.
Merlin hated it most of all, however, as not only did he need to fulfill his duty as a member of the castle staff and King Arthur’s personal manservant, he also had to watch for the inevitable assassination attempts, marriage proposals or whatever other treasonous plot these visitors always managed to cookup.
Ok not always, but enough that an impending party of nobles travelling from Mercia had him on edge - and for good reason, he would remind Arthur when it was over, as the course of event's permanently changed the King and his Warlock.
