“Following his pardon by the President of the United States, Sergeant James Buchanan Barnes, former Nazi prisoner of war and brainwashed Hydra agent, took to an unusual method of adapting to the modern world: Twitter. His Twitter handle was tweeted out by Tony Stark, and in the following two days, he gained over ten million followers. Barnes posted only four tweets as well as sharing and retweeting several Vines, but two of his tweets were videos of the famed Steven Rogers, also known as Captain America. The latest of these featured Barnes entering Captain Roger’s bedroom and shouting the line: “He’s beauty, he’s grace, he’s mister United States”, just to cause Captain Rogers to fall out of bed before confusedly saying, “Bucky, what the [bleeped]?” The rest of the world seems to agree with Captain Rogers; Barnes, what the hell?”

Bucky Barnes never fell off of the train in the Alps. Steve Rogers didn't have to wake up alone in the future. Things aren't exactly perfect as they try to come to terms with a completely different future and work out the feelings that they've had for each other for decades, but at least they get to figure it out together. (The MCU re-imagined with Bucky as an original Avenger)

Summary
It's 1943 to 1965 then 1989 before 2007, and James Barnes is still alive since Steve Rogers saved him from falling off the train.
But Steve still crashes a plane into the ocean, and Bucky is left by himself in a changing world without his best friend by his side.
The only thing Bucky can do is learn to live again.
[The story wherein Bucky doesn't fall off the train, but Steve still crashes Schmidt's plane, and Bucky has to live a life without Steve by his side for nearly seventy years.]

When Shen Yuan died cursing the plot, the inexperienced system assigned to his case failed to connect him to his intended role of the scum villain. Instead, he was shunted into -- what was this tight cramped darkness?? What do you mean mission: ‘Hatch Safely’!?
After breaking the shell, who wouldn’t recognize an iconic hatching scene from the book, where disciples would impress hatchlings. The kind Binghe, in the middle of his whump arc, was never allowed to partake in.
Well too bad, it was Binghe or bust! Where was the Qing Jing woodshed? Shen Yuan would drag his pathetic little newborn body as far as he needed to!
