Perhaps it should concern Dick that Tim thinks, as Jason once did, that he’s the only thing keeping Dick and Bruce from fighting when Alfred isn’t around. That the boy seems to think that his presence is the sole reason why they’re not at each other's throats whenever they’re around each other.
It should be a concern.
“You can’t hold his hand through everything, Nightwing,” Bruce tells him from where he’s sitting, facing away from the rest of the cave. It’s not quite a scolding-the tone is more vaguely annoyed and flat instead of chiding, but it makes Dick grit his teeth anyway. “He needs to learn to handle his own responsibilities.”
But the truth of the matter is that the kid is just plain right.

A place to hide low, train the future protectors of the nation. The royal, the elite, the best of the best - they all reside in Manberg.
Tommy's never amounted to anything in his life. He don't know nobody (besides Tubbo). He spends his days sneaking meals and naps in unpredictable times and working to save up for his dream - tuition to school, to become a hunter.
He's content with it. He's long grown accustomed to the hunger pains and the cold nipping away at his fingertips. The feeling of being watched hardly phased him anymore.

Wilbur never thought he'd be back here. The second he graduated, he left behind his hometown and never looked back. Years later, he's wildly successful and he came home, no, not to see his parents or gloat his massive amounts of wealth in front of all the people who wished him ill, but yet instead to play fill-in for an old friend of his, Phil. He runs the Syndicate club, who had a couple bands call out during a battle of the bands.
Wilbur was only gonna stay for a night or two and leave the second it was over. That's what his plans were, anyways.
That was before the punk kid with platform doc martens and a split dyed mullet, a drummer with what looks like the biggest temper he'd ever seen, and a quiet kid with a dangerous glint in his eyes rocked the shit out of that club.
Wilbur was sure this horrible ass town was void of any talent, but... he's starting to think he might've been wrong.
