“Up. Stand up.” The voice was steady. Sam holstered his gun slowly and raised his hands. “Shit, I said up, before I kill you right here.”
Sam got a foot under himself and stood. The barrel of the gun stayed pressed into his neck, warming against his skin.
"Face me.”
Sam turned, heels close to the edge of the cliff. His eyes tracked past the pistol looming close, to the man holding it. He looked about how Sam would expect. A dark bandana covered his face, and long greasy hair hung loose under his hat, almost to his shoulders. His shirt and pants may have been black once, but now they were the color of sweat, and grime, and dust from the road. There was a large knife strapped to his right thigh. He looked like the kind of man who could get a jump on Sam, who would make good on his promise to shoot, who knew how to survive. He spoke in a low growl.
“I know you’re tracking Pierce. Just stop and we won’t have a problem. He’s mine.”

Sam's a bounty hunter on the trail of a dangerous gang leader when he meets Bucky, who is after the same man - for far more personal reasons.
Cowboy AU! Will probably get bumped to explicit eventually. Enjoy.

What’re you trying to do, knock me up?” he jests, and every part of Bucky freezes. With the exception of his dick, of course, which twitches with interest against the inside of Sam’s thigh.

Sam tilts his head, trying not to smile sympathetically at the admission. He doesn't want to make Bucky feel bad by admitting he absolutely knew that fact.
"It's easy. You have your face, that's all you need," Sam jokes.

“Just fucking do it! You’re always asking to come, always giving me shit when I ‘ont invite you, just listen!” Adrian peeled the phone from his ear, the berating getting to be way too loud.

"What do you mean?"
"Well, you're doing your best. Fighting crime, working and studying, while I'm just taking up your bed. Not fair, is it? What can I do for you? Name it. I'll do anything."
Peter chuckles softly and turns in his arms, staring right at Johnny. "Just being here helps, Johnny," he says and presses a quick peck against Johnny's mouth. "So just be you and keep being you."
(Or, one of Reed's experiments goes wrong, and Johnny ends up stuck in the 616 universe. Falling in love with Peter wasn't part of the plan, but honestly, can you blame him?)
