Summary

I had hoped it was a dream. But I'm not waking up. The sky is torn asunder and the world is left in fragments. The Divine is dead. So many people are dead. Peace is not even a question, it's a fading idea.
Everything is in disarray. Reports have changed so rapidly I am not even sure what the truth is anymore - I can't even be sure it's all real. There was a prisoner who was a fiend, and now he is a hero. They are whispering about him—a lot about him.
The healer tells me I need more rest. But if I don't write, I'm afraid I will lose my mind. I need to get words onto paper, or they will fester in my mind. And I'm afraid they will tear me apart. There are some questions that I'm afraid to hear the answers to. Questions that I am not yet ready to ask.
What has happened to the world?

He didn’t tell her of the boy with the goat legs, the pain of being torn apart, and the warm light that engulfed him at the end. She held him until he fell back asleep. Elsewhere, a young daughter of Zeus made her final stand.
Percy was nine when he opened his eyes, phantom lightning crawling over his skin and the echoes of a woman’s last moments still ringing in his ears. If he closed his eyes, he could still see the twin onyx eyes staring back at him.
When his mother told him the story of his namesake, of Perseus the son of Zeus, he didn't tell her he already knew. Had already seen a mother and her infant set adrift in a raging storm, watched a boy travel far and slay monsters for the sake of his mother’s safety. But he didn’t tell her this. He was young, but he knew already what happened to people like him. People who see.
He was no prophet; he would not suffer their fate. He would bite his tongue and let the prophecies pass him by.

It’s a shame the crew always fractures apart in such marvelous places: first on Sabaody, now on Zou, and all Zoro can do is try to keep it all from coming apart at the seams this time. Sanji's path forces him abroad as he reunites with his birth family under the worst possible circumstances, and it takes Luffy’s surprise appearance on the horizon, barging in like the uninvited guest he is, to rekindle his faith.
And then, against all odds, the Straw Hat crew finds itself reassembled and whole in the fabled Land of Samurai. Somewhere along the way, the Wings of the future Pirate King must find their reckoning with each other.

Zoro always hated it when Sanji went to go off on his own and do some self-sacrificial shit he did whenever things happen.
When he suddenly goes off back on Little Garden. When he chased off of Robin without a word. When he swam for some shit underwater in Enies Lobby. And now. He’s gone again on his own doing fuck knows what.
This time, though, Zoro thinks it’s different than the other times he left. Those were fleeting moments of him gone.
It’s different this time, Zoro just knows it.

“Okay.” Stiles glanced at his phone, wincing at the battery being close to ten percent. It was probably time to call Scott. Turning off the flashlight, mostly to save battery and kind of freaking out over how dark it was—though the half-moon reflecting off the snow helped a bit—he opened his contacts with shaking hands and scrolled through to Scott’s name. Once he hit it, he put the phone to his ear, looking around, and froze.
The phone rang in his ear, but his eyes were locked on something big and moving through the trees.
Oh no. Oh no, no, no.
If that was a fucking bear, Stiles was fucked!
The line kept ringing and ringing, but Scott didn’t answer. Eventually his voicemail picked up and Stiles very slowly lowered the phone and hung up without looking, eyes still on the dark shape in the trees. He glanced down for only a second to turn on the flashlight function again, then lifted it ever so slowly upwards, and felt his breath freeze in his lungs.
It was a wolf.
It was a motherfucking wolf.

Summary
If there is one thing Buck will always do, it is help people. Doesn't matter what sort of danger it puts him in, or who the person is, he will jump in feet first and get the job done. When he's alone in a parking lot late one evening, of course he's going to run towards the woman yelling that her father is having a heart attack. Why wouldn't he?
When he doesn't show up for his shift the next morning, Eddie and the rest of the 118 immediately know something is very, very wrong. But this time, there's not much they can do about it. There's no ladders to climb, no debris to move. Buck just isn't where he's supposed to be.
