Summary
Three years ago, during the perfect Summer at his family's summer home, Verso Dessendre fell in love.
Then, he was forcibly reminded that he had his responsibilities, his duties, and that his life was not a fairy tale where he could run away with the merman he'd fallen in love with.
However, left to rot by the sea, without his ability to paint, with vicious wounds from a fire his sister had not survived, Verso can't help but wish for just a little of that fairy tale magic for himself and the merman who had stolen his heart - Gustave.
(Title means "The Call of the Sea")

Summary
The Eridians had made little sense of it when it was first detected, resonating from within an astrological body only a fragment of light years away that had—apparently, impossibly—not been there before. A crooked moon with no star, they’d said. No planet. And, from it, this little noise that had reached the Eridian transmitters, quick as a heartbeat. Staggering like a gasp of breath.
A sign of life, crying out into the universe for help.
And Dr. Ryland Grace, in all his cosmic stupidity, followed it.

Summary
Ryland is stressed, and Simon just wants to help
He could count on his one hand the amount of people that he had actually kissed. Sexual encounters were one thing, but this? Only one or two people came to mind, and none of them held a candle. He had no doubts that he was doing this horribly, but what he lacked in experience he tried to make up for with enthusiasm.
Ryland, on the other hand, kissed well, experience showing in the languid flick of his tongue against his own. It took his breath away, and he pressed closer, closer, wanting to be surrounded by the man across from him, to merge into one and show him how much he meant to them.
He surged forward, hand tangling in his shirt and tugging at it, suddenly needing to feel skin on his own, needing to feel life pushing back against him.
[A smutty continuation of the kissing scene from chapter 12 of The C Team because I can't help myself, this can still be read without the larger work but there will be some missing context]

Summary
The Eridian Space Team finds a man-made ship orbiting Erid. After further investigations and hearing a thrum that sounded like Savior Grace’s heart, they’d come to the decision to open the ship by force. Inside, a large animal huddled in the corner, coated in a gooey substance. The team had to get it to Savior Grace. He’d know what to do.
OR
Wolf-Shifter Simon gets rescued. He can’t shift back. He won’t. Grace finds the wolf questionable, but keeps his distance for the time being. That being said what kind of wolf knows the English alphabet??

Summary
Ryland was thrilled about every new invention and project he contributed to for The Petrova Task Force and Project Hail Mary. That his fellow Task Force members seemed just as enthusiastic as he was just added to his pride at contributing!
Even so, the most recent of these projects, the Greenhouse (it deserves to be capitalized, it is going to change the world!) was one of the most amazing he had ever thought of! And Dimitri had promised to pull a team together. Now they just had to get it off the schematics board and reproducible!
Simon Anguilla-Fiesher had taken one look at the schematic on his boss’s desk and requested to join the project. Whoever had created this must be an angel. It would revolutionize how food was grown! He couldn’t wait to get started!
Or: How too much caffeine, multiple kidnapping attempts of varying degrees of success, a lack of self-care, and a gut feeling saved 1 man, inspired people at 2 conferences, and brought 3 brothers back together.( Now if those two would just kiss already…..)

Summary
Mecha Man Blue was a superhero for fifteen years. In that time, he's met all sorts of people, from notorious villains to heroes of great renown, from celebrities of all kinds to the people who run the show behind the scenes. Individuals and organizations, human and not, morally good and evil and neither option.
More importantly than who they are is the fact that many have become indebted to him through some means or another. Robert never considered using those debts, but that was only when it came to himself. Now that he has the Z-Team and everyone else at SDN, Robert is more than willing to finally cash in a few favors to make sure that the people he cares about most are safe and well-protected.
--
Prompt from @spacedace on Tumblr about Mecha Man finally cashing in debts. This is basically my excuse to write cool superpowers and give Robert all sorts of wacky relationships

Summary
Ryland thought once he got to Erid, that was it. He'd live out the rest of his days with his best friend, perhaps teach the Eridian pebbles about Earth. Retirement sounded nice, but as nice as Erid was, it would never be like Earth. As homesick as he was, he kept going. As lonely as he was, he kept living.
Then, Rocky knocks on his door one morning, claiming the Eridians found another human. One that was alive.
Or, introspection and character study, and what happens when two sides of the same coin meet. What happens when loneliness is no longer a thing, when two people who have been alone for so long finally have someone to cling to?

Grace had never felt like a real alpha.
Okay, that just sounds pathetic. He’s not some nasty teen dealing with his presentation, nor is he some old, wise jerk that can confidently say he’s never liked being one. He’s just an alpha that doesn’t really like being one, it’s far from the first time it’s happened.

Colt messed up.
After his accident, he was so frustrated and hated that other people saw him while he was weak, so he pushed them away.
Now it's been a year and a half, he reconciled with Jody after the events following Tom Ryder's disappearance, and he hasn't spoken to Ryland once.
It's up to his sneaky, spy/assassin older brother to make the two make up.
They can only wonder what Ryland's been up to in the meantime.
