His soulmark is large, but Gladio supposes that’s mostly to do with the fact he’s large. His mother and father’s soulmarks were identical in form but Dad’s dwarfed hers by a huge margin.
It covers the meat of his thigh, a scattering of loose orange and purple petals drifting up to his hip where they might just be visible over the band of his underwear.
Gladio gazes at the two plants twined together on his flesh. The Gladioli are obvious, an easy representation of himself. It takes him a second to place the other flowers, tiny purple petals on long stems with wide flat leaves.

When Gladio realises what they are, who they represent, his heart sinks right into his stomach and shatters.Alternatively: When Gladio learns who his soulmate is he should be happy, he’s already in love with them. The problem is that Ignis doesn’t love him back.

Day 1: Ignis isn't sure how comfortable Noctis will actually be in his new apartment.
Day 2: Ignis comforts Prompto through an anxious night.
Day 3: A long, long time ago, Ignis made Noctis a promise.
Day 4: Gladio goes to Noctis after a nightmare.
Day 5: After taking a tumble, Gladio needs to get detangled. Luckily, Prompto is there to help clean him up.
Day 6: Noctis and his party play a dangerous game in the streets of Lestallum...
Day 7: Prompto is injured, and Ignis is there to help patch him up, no matter how serious.
Day 8: Game night gets too real with the chocobros.
Day 9: Ignis hates to leave, and hates even more for Prompto to watch him go.
Day 10: Gladio struggles under the weight of destiny. Ignis comes to help bear the load.
Day 11: The simplest things can stave off a difficult day.
Day 12: Feverish and weak, Ignis is comforted by a shaking hand.
Day 13: Noctis shares the night sky with Prompto, and everything that comes with it.

Summary: Aziraphale is in love with Crowley. He can't express it, so instead to quietly tends to Crowley's various serpentine needs without his knowledge instead.
Excerpt: Aziraphale had never intended to become a casual herpetologist, it had just happened over the centuries. Crowley was such a needy snake, regardless of the fact that he would never admit to it. He required a rather strict feeding schedule which took ages to acclimate too, and then there was acclimation itself. Aziraphale had spent so much time arranging his bookshop: the sunny space by the window was precisely ninety degrees in full sun but eighty-five without, whereas his reading room was maintained at a cool and comfortable seventy-five degrees.
