Dusk hadn't only saved her after all, she had even welcomed her into her paintings, gave her a new life away from all harm, and Dawn instinctively built a wall between herself and the painter, gazing at her from what she believed to be a respectful distance, one dictated by the sheer... difference between them.
But as the years went by and time stood still within Dusk's painted world, the relationship between them slowly changed.
