Summary
Arthur always knew that it would be over.
The funny feelings. Stolen kisses in the throne room. Hungry looks at each other. He knew that they were too good to last, good things wouldn’t happen to him. But he was lost in an illusion where he felt loved. He didn’t want to leave that illusion; he only wanted to feel the kisses, the caring touches for a bit longer.
That was what he thought when he caught Merlin using magic. No, no. That would be a lie. The first thing he thought was that Merlin was so beautiful with these golden eyes. How beautiful and cruel.
“I would never hurt you. I never hurt you.”
His voice was shaky, full of emotions. Was there love in that voice, Arthur thought, or was that another lie?

But his warmth in his last moments was still haunting Merlin. His body getting heavy between the warlock’s arms when he died. His whimpers before dying. His tiny ‘thank you’. They were haunting Merlin; in his nightmares, in his daydreams. They never stopped.
Centuries had passed. Merlin was still here, living hundreds of lifetimes. He was witnessing the history; empires fell, new countries got founded, people killed and died.

Summary
When he was a kid, Frank’s father taught him how to hide his emotions. Men don’t cry, he used to say, you have to be strong. Frank always listened to that advice and held his tears whenever he wanted to cry. But now, he had no strength to stop them. Even in rehab, he was disappointing his father. He was disappointing everyone. His kids, his wife, his parents, his coworkers, Robby. His heart ached in pain when he thought of Robby. They ended things so badly, he probably hated Frank now while Frank was busy longing for his warmth on his body.
Frank is in rehab and struggles meanwhile Robby longs for him.

Frank Langdon was coming back to the hospital today.
Robby already knew that, they had asked for his opinion before the decision of him going back after all. He desperately wanted to say no; he didn’t want to see Langdon at all. Working with him again had no difference from torture, but there was no way he could be this cruel. Bobby knew that how hard Langdon had worked to be clean again even though he had never visited him. Jack had visited Langdon for a few times, he had said that Langdon was trying to be better, going better. Roby was glad.
His heart was still aching, though. He missed Langdon so much, his smile, his tiny chuckles, his sarcastic jokes, his back hugs, his kisses, his touches. He missed the times when he was Frank to Robby, not Langdon. But it was too late. They were not boyfriends anymore, they had no relationship, Langdon threw them all.
