Summary
Penny was usually the one who'd stand out, who'd gain praise from her amazing skills in basketball, and who's the nicest girl ever.
LaCienega was just a transferred student, yet she gained more attention from Penny's grasp and was everyone's new favorite. This made Penny snap and act out of character.
Their schemes became volatility, physical, and even subtle to their naked eyes. Penny was going through it while LaCienega ignored the evil doings she did to Penny to feel less guilty.

High school was initially resentment for Penny and she can't control her behavior, meanwhile LaCienega's the most meanest (yet self-deprecating) girl you'd ever meet–Penny's first initial thought was to call her a bitch, but she realized that her rival isn't so perfect as she bragged to be, in fact she's almost... kindhearted in ways that made Penny's heart twist? She didn't know what it was, but she's willing to try to bond with her before it's too late.

Summary
Penny always thought that LaCienega was a weirdo when they first met, how'd she talk about her nonstop.
LaCienega's been idolizing her from afar–she's just too shy to tell her the truth about how she really felt about her, she joined the "clique" just for her, not for the sake of the others.
All she really wanted out of this boring friend group was Penny–and that's her main target–to manipulate her that she's a "nice girl" when she isn't.
OR:
LaCienega falls in love with her best friend in a unhealthy way, her friends are very concerned about her health, and Penny's oblivious to all the destruction she's doing.

Summary
LaCienega never wanted to be on bedrest and suffering with the dreading and amplifying silence that mocked her rudely. Her quinceañera was supposed to be fun, wild, and freedom – but that turned upside down when she was rushed to the hospital after realizing she was unconscious for an hour after falling from a ride.
At least Penny visited her.

LaCienega's been in the hospital for a while, Penny visits her sometimes when she sensed LaCienega was lonely, but as time passed, LaCienega became more emotionally unavailable and lost her spunk overtime, school was becoming a replica of jail, pageants were getting tiring–then again, her girlfriend noticed every obstacle she's facing right now and tries to help her.

Briar "Brianna Renée" Beauty was sharp-tongued, defensive, and a cold-hearted person who's the embodiment of 'heartless' combined with 'hard-headed'.
She had to get enrolled in Ever After High because her behavior was becoming worse than before.
Sure, she made friends on the way, some were nice (some were extremely fake), but that didn't stop her from developing a friendship with Cinderella's daughter (Ashlynn Ella), despite her being so over reactivate... they still get along just fine! As long as they don't have any disagreements... which, they do have a lot sometimes.
