this was an experience to say the least. and an emotional roller coaster at that might i add. so good (you're so bad; the zb1 brainrot took over for few minutes) that i finished this in one day. don't usually do that because you know life but what can i say I'm on my period so fuck life actually.
so tim, my darling, my sweet baby boy, please go to therapy. and to the badfam respectfully stick your heads into beehives and look in to the mirror. and maybe also go to therapy but i also don't give a shit about them so don't mind if they crash and burn. absolutely love the characterization in this, like the counterparts felt similar enough to be like yeah they're the same person technically but different enough that you could tell them apart, even if they hadn't been called different names although that did help quite the bit.
also the bridge world timothy. i might have unlocked a new crush. like I already did like tim drake but mr. timothy drake the phoenix, best big brother in existence. i am blushing respectfully, man could maim me and I'd say thank you. can't believe fictional men are keeping me bisexual frfr.

what a journey has this been, as someone who has a very hazy understanding of both the witcher and elden ring this was still a very pleasantly enjoyable experience. granted my hazy understanding is having watched two seasons of witcher ages ago and somewhat playing the witcher 3 as well as watching few playthroughs of elden ring. but like the lore, pretty lost to me.
ignoring that the tension and drama i got from this was far better than most books i had to read in school. which i feel like is caused by the way this is written. there are a lot of parts here that feel very elden ring-y and i like that very much. you author have a very engaging way of writing. and the characters felt alive, like i could imagine them being real and reacting in this way.
6/5 would fan over this again

genuine tears in my eyes, how dare you make me feel this much at this hour. i am at a loss of words which is quite normal at this point but for a chronic yapper it is always a surprise. still i am confused, emotionally vulnerable, and very very lost. i love this idea, the hurt, the comfort, the fucking feels bro. i am over the moon for having the ability and privilege to read this. truly it is a blessing to be born in the early 2000's to experience this beautifully crafted delicacy. the world outside might suck but at least i have masterpieces like this to get me through this game we call life.

another day, another slay. the ways that this beautifully crafted masterpiece speaks to me. and here i thought i'd never be able to experience everdream for the first time again. yet here we are. whatever higher power exists, my prayers were answered. i will forever be thankful. and like to go out of your way to re write the same fic and then dedicate it to someone. like whaaat, truly restoring my faith to humanity.
and like i know for a fact (considering i have consumed everdream enough to it form itself as part of my being), that this is going to emotionally destroy me. and i couldn't be more happier about that. like to this day everdream awakens something in me, even though i basically read it more often than i open my course books, and to be able to experience what that made me go through again AND getting a new fic to revolve my whole life around. like i must have been a saint in my past life. a rare past-me victory.
anyhow i don't think I'll ever be able to recover from this. like genuinely, i might just have a new favorite. or at least like a shared number 1 spot. i have read many stories both fanfiction and not that have caused me to go on emotional journeys, resonated with me deeply and just overall been very very good. that being said, i truly can't say if any of them have hit mark quite like this and everdream have. and that is not saying that any of them aren't good enough. but there's just something about these two that make me feel like i have never felt before.
and as a person (who thanks to ricky get on the zb1 train) eho absolutely loves haobin. like i adore my two parents. they are in love your honor. you get the point. like this hits mark in every possible way. now would i have loved this even if it hadn't been haobin. yes. absolutely, with 100% certainty.
now i'm gonna go back to internally screaming over how perfect this is and have a mental breakdown over this wonderful experience i'm having. cannot wait to be emotionally destroyed later on and re-reading this over and over again. thank you and much love togentlygo for writing this and blessing my future days by giving me something that'll give me strength to go on.

okay, so, wow what a journey this took me on. ngl i have never managed to read over 100k story so fast (about 2 days) as i did this. just like hooked me in, the best way possible. i feel both like crying and smiling for rest of the day. might fuck around and do both.
i absolutely love ricky in this story. like he feels like a real person with real feelings and thoughts. he's not perfect but he feels real. much like all the other characters do as well. i absolutely love to see my girlboss wonyoung here as well, and i absolutely loved her character as well.
it feels weird to say this, considering how much fanfiction i read and i would say that 90% of what is really good, but this is genuinely one of the best written pieces i have seen on the topics of abuse, mental health and family. like no joke, this felt very emotion awakening.

h o l y f u c k i n g s h i t
hunger games expect it's more deadly and hella lot of gayer. i am at a loss of words. like fr. this changed my brain chemistry. my poor babies. like i will teleport myself into this universe and tear down the rich people and resurrect few people along the way. like try me, i will do it.
but yeah, this certainly was an experience that left me in tears if i was able to show emotions. but that's something that I should go to therapy for, so moving forward. top tier writing, top tier characters and top tier emotional turmoil.
loved hao's and ricky's friendship (they are brothers your honor) and that's totally not because they are my faves. i mean lowkey yes but also the way they were written just made me love them. especially their heart to heart in the mansion. chef's kiss. also big fan of the haobin agenda. very big fan.
hoetaek was the mvp and i knew he had something planned. just didn't quite guess this. but anyway love that for him.

it's so good?? like for starters i actually like dumbledore here which is a surprise but a welcome one. furthermore the story just flows naturally. roy and sirius is my new bromance, i love them. my lil beans. and the character work in general is amazing. especially on roy considering how much of the story lies on his shoulders. but all of the other characters are amazingly written as well. i really get the feeling that this is how they would have acted in these situations. and gotta love roy just being an absolute op of a mad lad. go of king, show them who you are. AND i knoow that it has been nearly 3 years but i held on the hope that one day, ONE beautiful day this will continue.

In his three years working for the Amestrian military, Edward Elric was never sent on a mission where he’d have to fight on the frontlines or kill someone. The reason for this was simple. Roy Mustang volunteered for all these missions instead of Edward. Roy never admitted to actual reasons why he’d take so many missions instead of his subordinate. Most of the times, he just boasted about how these missions could help him to earn the next promotion or relieve him of paperwork for a few days or give more reasons to tease Ed about. He never admitted that he cared about Ed, even though every single one of these missions was more dangerous than the ones Ed was assigned to. god lord my feelings are in shambles. where do i even begin with this glorious piece of art. it's very rare that i read a fic that feels just right like this does. like it processes in a way that leaves no other possible outcomes than the ones that happen. and god is the agnst so so fucking delicious. like from the first chapter all the way to the last i am in love. roy mustang's character is such a complex thing that i don't usually fully connect the "canon" version completely with fanfiction ones, but in this fic i do. this 100% feels like it could have been in the anime (as i have yet to read the manga) and that fills something in me. no clue what but i do be loving this fic.

i will never recover from this fic. from the summary to last paragraph i was taken completely. there isn't anything in this world that will make me feel the same way. i can never experience this work of art for the first time ever again and THAT is a crime. i don't think i ever had read a fic that has made me re-read it so many times, make feel so many feelings over and over again with every re-read. this MASTERPIECE will forever affect me and i refuse to ever forget it. i want it to injected to my bloodstream. actually no, i NEED it to injected to my bloodstream. and brain. like just everywhere. i'm sooo close to just make my whole personality revolve around this amazing story. i honestly cannot put it into words how much this work changed me as a persona. how much this whole reading experience has and will continue to affect me and my actions. with each time i return to this i feel in love with it more.
edit: i think i have reread this at least 10 times by now, and by this point remember the story almost completely. but i still read it as if it was my first time (i really wish i could read this for the first time again, like PLEASE) and it never gets old. it actually gets better by every read. and considering it was already a masterpiece that just means i'm being fed well. this will become part of my own tradition of read this at least on a yearly basis. to destroy my mental well-being because that's what this story does to me. and i L O V E it.

I FUCKING LOVE THIS FIC WITH MY WHOLE ASS TINY LITTLE HEART. and i would yell that from rooftops if i wasn't afraid of high places. quite honestly i didn't think i would end up falling in love with this fic when i started to read it but here i am completely and utterly smitten by this. it's so good. like the plot twist made me so happy bc i actually figured it out somewhat beforehand (which is new for me) and it went to a such a lovely end.

Love was something they needed to work on every day and it was hard to look at each other, much less love each other sometimes. But at the end of the day, it was still love. this story destroyed me emotionally, physically, and in every other way possible. from the first paragraph i was hooked, the whole story flows with such naturality that i cannot help but fall in love with it again and again. it's just so well crafted, like how could anyone not find this amazing? this masterpiece of a story made me feel so many feelings, from crying to happiness, frustration and so so so much more. i cannot express how much this story means to me. the plot, the characters, the themes, the ending! god, the ending. this story changed me, and i will never ever be the same. i fucking whish i could go back and experience this again for the first time.

ma fav jicheol stories to exist and nothing can change my mind about that. probably the best svt fics to exist. maybe even the best fics to exist. who knows? BUT they are so good, like god i love each and every one of these stories with my full heart. i just love them so fucking much.
i mean who wouldn't love stories with such rich world building and characterization. it's seriously so well written and so atmospheric, i am in love. considering i'm usually not into non-modern fics unless it's fantasy or canon for that fandom, but here i absolutely love it. and i know this technically has supernatural stuff in it, but it's still very rich with historical correct stuff. at least i choose to believe so as i know very little of history if it's not about ancient greek or finland. but anywho fucking love these fics and would absolutely die for them.

Summary
