I’ll probably write more to this but this fanfic is based heavily on @SuperFloxes (on YouTube) Boy or Girl? video! As well as my own personal struggles with gender. Sorry it’s a little bad, I’m not the best at writing

Summary
Ruth, bored one day, decides to take all those old locomotive parts she's been collecting and use them for something. She's going to build herself a proper car out of them. A unique sort of car made entirely of steam locomotive parts! After putting all those parts together, however, she is rather surprised to find that she didn't just make a car out of train parts. Oh no. She accidentally created LIFE. And now, she's a mother. Uh oh.
She finds, however, that this situation isn't nearly as scary as it may sound. In fact, she finds it delightful to be a mother to this new life she names 'Cleo'. Everything from the happy lessons about the world around them, to the terrifying moment of coming face-to-face with the express, to the sad times of questioning what kind of engine she is. And Ruth is proud to be there for all of it.
OR, that Ruth-and-Cleo-centric story that literally NO ONE was asking for. I'm the one person in the fandom who actually likes Cleo, so here we are. Have a 9k+ word long monster.

Summary
Inspired by the famous Simpsons episode '22 Short Films About Springfield'. While the escapades of the titular Thomas and his friends are the main focus of the show, there are dozens of other engines living on the island who all have their own lives and stories to tell. How about we take a look at some of those stories, spanning just a few hundred words in length? 22 stories, to be exact.
(No, there is no 'Steamed Hams' bit, but I am absolutely going to reference it in some fashion cos I'm not going to waste a good 'steam' joke.)

Summary
Long before he arrived on Sodor, Dart worked in the yards on the mainland. Being assigned there wasn't especially fun. The other diesels were a lot bigger than him and not the nicest engines around. But there's one diesel engine there who the others don't seem to like at all. The one they have chosen to nickname 'Dimwit'. A BIG diesel by the name of Den.
In no time at all, however, Dart finds that Den isn't as 'slow' as the other diesels seem to think. Quite the opposite. He's actually very insightful, just really shy and very bad with words. All that big diesel needs is someone who understands him. And just like that, begins a friendship that would never be separated.
OR, I ended up falling in love (platonically) with Den and Dart while making a YouTube video, so you get an origin story.

Summary
Charlie is a very funny tank engine who loves telling jokes. It's his favourite thing to do in the whole world! But underneath all those puns and laughs is an ever-looming dread that something is wrong with him. He doesn't know what. Or why. But something is off. If only he could figure it out…
Pieces start falling into place, however, when he's to escort an inspector to the china clay pits. A fascinating conversation between the Inspector and the clay twins reveals something about those twins that Charlie never knew. And it might just help him… or perhaps 'her'… figure out what's wrong.
(OR, the rumours and speculation over Charlie being genderswapped in the 2026 show inspired me to write a story about her realising that she's actually a girl.)

My own personal take on why Rosie repainted herself red. Not exactly an original one, but I like this idea. Rosie, the victim of a very unfortunate accident, finds herself stuck in the steamworks for a long time. A very long time. All the while, Victor is there. A calm, friendly voice that keeps her grounded during the worst part of her life.
When the time comes to repaint her coat, she makes a big decision.

Summary
Two horse girls commit $9.7 million in securities fraud on September 11th, 2001.
One makes millions. One loses everything. Both evade taxes across six countries.
An 84-year-old lawyer with dementia provides plausible deniability. The SEC finds no wrongdoing. Half the profits go to charity.
This is a comedy.
(It shouldn't be, but it is.)
This definitely isn't based off actual real world information that would make this theoretically possible.

LCB-03-18: IN WHICH DON QUIXOTE, TO HER BEWILDERMENT, OBTAINS THE ROMANTIC INTEREST OF TOO MANY MAIDENS by LCFDepartment
Fandoms: Limbus Company (Video Game)

Summary
This page takes a look at Document Number LCB-03-18. LCB stands for Limbus Company Bus, 03 is for Sinner Number 3 (also known as Don Quixote, not to be confused with Don Quixote de La Mancha, who also happens to be her father... Look, let's just note her under "Sancho" for the records), and 18 designates this as the eighteenth document taken in by the department. Supposedly, this is chronicling the pursuits of Sinner #3 as she deals with her... growing sense of romantic aspirations towards "maidens"? Does this even count as a real document? It looks more like the mad ramblings of a lucid dreamer.
(Don Quixote's gay panic turns into a gay mass hysteria beam and somehow makes several women way above her league fall madly in love with her.)
