Ooh, my favorite of Vathara's work, finally available on AO3! Here's my description from when I first bookmarked the version of this fic on fanfiction.net, back in 2015:
This is an excellent fic. In part because I knew nothing about either Rurouni Kenshin or Nightlife (a role-playing game from 1990; kind of a precursor to Vampire: The Masquerade, from what I understand) when I first read this, and yet I loved this story. Honestly, although the Urban Legends series and Embers come a close second, this and its sequel, Witchy Woman, are my favorite of Vathara's works. (I kind of consider them one long work; there really isn't much of a break in the action between them.)

A J.D.-centric story, which there really aren't a lot of. And this story makes you wonder, why not?

Once again, bookmarking in honor of CaraLee's brand new Operation: GenSen collection.
This is actually more a series of arcs and one-shots than a story with a strong central plot. So, while it's WIP, that doesn't mean you'll be left at all unsatisfied if you read what's there. Oh, and watch out for other stray crossovers: There's a Walker, Texas Ranger character that shows up for a chapter, I remember.
(Just don't go looking for the snippet that was posted on the Livejournal account as a response to fic prompts in honor of Valentine's Day, 2014. That one, which is also a crossover, will leave you wanting more.)

A gem of its kind, which is the time-travel fix-it fic, ubiquitous in this fandom. I love how the story ends up being more about Anakin's personal growth from the events of the original Star Wars trilogy than it is about his knowledge of possible future events.
Plus it features a stellar Padme, who is a little thrown by the changes in Anakin but willing to work on their relationship, anyhow.
Throw in a young Han Solo occasionally stealing the spotlight, and this one is a winner.
