Hyunjin giggles cutely and sits up to point at himself. “Look at me,” he says confidently. “How could they not…”
That makes Seungmin look away, because Hyunjin is so awfully right. Hell, he’d pay for every single of Hyunjin’s drinks, and if it would drive him into ruin. And that’s what makes him look back, sudden confidence in him that he’s not sure where it comes from.
“So have you ever…” He asks bravely, nodding his head in the general direction of where he saw the two men kiss earlier.
Hyunjin looks as if he’s ready to coo at Seungmin and coddle him like a puppy. “Oh sweet boy,” he says cutely. “You have a lot to experience still.”

“Hyunjin? Are you ok?” Seungmin asked, waving a hand in front of Hyunjin’s dazed eyes.
Hyunjin gulped on instinct. He's so beautiful. How did he not notice before?
“I-it's 24 hours,” Hyunjin choked past the lump in his throat. “And I didn't fall in love.”
Are you sure about that?
Hyunjin made the journey to Prophe-Seungs fully expecting to get his money back, and leave. Make five-minute pleasantries with Seungmin, and then push through the carved wooden door with his well earned five dollars back in his wallet, where it belongs. Never to return.
He was wrong. He was living a 24 hour lie, but everything has become clear as the mental fog within faded, now replaced with the dissipating smog of freshly lit incense.
Hyunjin doesn't want a refund.
He wants Seungmin.
Inspired by the prompt: “you’re a fortune teller and you predict that i’ll fall in love with someone within 24 hours. i dont, so i come back 24 hours later to demand a refund and whoa how come i didnt notice that you’re gorgeous??”

Or, falling for your enemy slash roommate wasn't on Seungmin's list of things to do in college, but he's long since embraced the unexpected results that come from keeping Hwang Hyunjin around.

"Jeongin!" Hyunjin screams in disbelief. He hopes to god his brother wasn't watching anything improper using his account because he had his privacy set to public and all his 1 million subscribers could see his likes and whatnot on his page. "Is it porn?!"
