Din Djarin needs a new ship.
Greef Karga makes him a deal - do some work for the guild and he'll get a brand new gunship. One such job takes him to a planet with a volatile storm system to track down a double-crossing bounty hunter. What he doesn't know is that the bounty hunter is there to loot an ancient Jedi temple. What neither of them know is that someone else is also on the planet searching for the temple.

Over twenty years after Chancellor Palpatine's failed takeover of the Galactic Republic, Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker-Naberrie is asked to join a diplomatic mission to Mandalore to help negotiate a trade agreement with the new Mand'alor. While he is assumed to join as an observer and mediator in these talks, his real mission is to investigate rumors that the Mand'alor's child is powerful in the Force and offer a future for the child within the Jedi Order. The already difficult task compounds when he keeps failing to gain an audience with the mysterious Mand'alor, but distraction comes in the form of a strange, faceless Mandalorian palace guard he keeps encountering at night, someone he keeps gravitating towards despite himself.

The Armourer once told Din that to be Mandalorian is to be both hunter and prey.
He's pretty sure this isn't quite what the Armourer meant.
According to his Creed, Din is now an apostate, dar'manda, no longer Mandalorian, yet he is also Mand'alor courtesy of a weird laser sword that he can't seem to get rid of.
In which Din tries to reconcile with his new titles, goes on a journey of self-discovery, and does his best to ignore the incessant ringing noise emanating from the cursed blade on his belt (but that's ok because he’s starting to get the sense that the feeling is mutual).

It was Greef who recommended her. Of course he ‘knew a guy’. Or woman, in this case.
“An engineer of extraordinary talent,” Greef had said over the holo-com. And she would have to be, if she was going to be able to handle Mandalorian armour. Din would much rather have sought out the Armourer, of course, but there had been no trace of her – or any of the covert – since Navarro, and he was starting to get desperate. A Mandalorian without functioning armour was nothing at all.
