Summary
Severus Snape was prepared to die on the floor of the Shrieking Shack. He had made his peace with it — or something close enough to peace that the difference no longer mattered.
He was not prepared to wake up.
Flung back to 1967 with an adult's memories, an adult's magic, and a seven-year-old's body, Severus has no interest in second chances. He has a mission. The Horcruxes. The war. The names and faces of everyone who will die if he does nothing.

After Molly Weasley reports shocking abuse on the part of Petunia and Vernon Dursley, Albus Dumbledore makes an official decision to Turn A Blind Eye. After all, the Dursleys *are* the key to Harry's Blood Wards. Though McGonagall is appalled, she is ultimately unwilling to take a stand against Albus.
Enraged at this dual neglect, Severus Snape decides to take matters into his own hands. Little does he know that his attempts to modify Harry's Blood Wards will result in *accidentally adopting* The Boy Who Lived. Shocked and horrified, Severus is left with no choice but to move forward as best he can. After all, there's no use crying over spilled potions. . .
This fic is set just after the Weasley siblings rescue Harry from the barred window/canned soup/cat flap situation in Harry Potter & the Chamber of Secrets. It is broadly inspired by many of my favorite Snape/Harry Adoption Fics, which I have gathered into the collection Snape_Harry_FoundFamily. Thanks, all y'all, for creating such delightful fics.

Summary

However, his most “hated” student was by his side, trying to stop the bleeding on his neck. He gave the boy his memories, hoping to finally face the punishment he deserved in the afterlife, but he woke up in the same place, reliving one of his worst memories.
Determined to change his past, Severus claimed the Prince Heirship, not knowing it would tie his fate to one Sirius Orion Black.

Summary
Sequel to Alium. You'd need to read that first for this to make any sense.
It had been a whirlwind of a few days, despite Severus having been at the castle for longer than usual over the summer. He was ahead in his brewing but behind in updating his lesson plans and making his timetable for meetings with the Slytherins, and then there were the usual pre-term meetings that Dumbledore insisted on holding. Keeping an eye on Harry over the summer had not been quite as onerous as Severus had feared, but the new puzzle of his horcrux, in addition to fitting in increased Death Eater duties to excuse his limited availability, had proven to be a substantial drain on his time.
Harry's sixth year begins, but with full awareness of the horcrux in his head and with Snape at his side.
