The dreams begin five days after Merlin’s execution.
The dreams— colors and shapes made from the wreckages of Arthur’s memories, as meaningless as words like loyalty and friendship— begin with the gentle questioning of something uncertain of its own right to exist.
And Arthur answers the question the only way he can— with his mind turned away from the thoughts that filled him at night, facing the morning with nothing more than a frown and a promise not to think of his dream again.
There are more important things to face, anyway. Whatever his father has planned each day, it leaves no room for Arthur to think of petty things like a moment of a bad dream.

All the ships are pale; there is no romance in this work, but you can look forward to some intense adopted-family feels, the fall of Talon, and rebuilding burned bridges.

Summary
After being revived in the Lazarus Pit and hearing that Batman had not only kept the Joker alive, but had also found a new Robin to replace him, Jason decides to stay at the League of Assassins, where he eventually meets what is commonly described as all of the angst and hatred in the world compressed in a single adorable dwarf, also known as Damian, and becomes his older brother.
Damian is a little shit, but he quickly turns into Jason's little shit so of course, when right after Ra Al Ghul's death his baby brother gets targeted from a bunch of assassins who want to take his place as the old man's successors, he's ready to do anything to protect him.
Obviously, bringing Damian to Bruce isn't part of that anything, OBVIOUSLY, but at the end of the day it's not like he actually gets a say in the matter so, off to the grown ass man with a bat fetish they go!
Aka: AU in which Jason stays with the League of Assassins and is a cynical bitch with severe daddy issues and a demon slightly younger than canon Damian to take care of. Fluff and humor served with a little bit of angst and absolutely DROWNED in crack.

THEEE best fic in the fandom imo. An interesting, dare I say more fulfilling plot from what we got, with all the interactions and characterizations on point (there's no ships here for now and i don't rly ship anyone here, but they're all set-up in a way that I can actually get behind with). But the main thing I rmb from this fic is how well-balanced it is between all the somber angsty moments i love and genuinely funny moments. Watiti wishes he could write like this. 10/10 would read and reread
