The goal is to let the party rage about while its rancorous host drinks himself into a stupor before slipping off to the man’s office, cracking his safe open, and taking a sizeable donation to the struggling population of New Eridu. A few million dennies would hardly be missed by someone with the kind of wealth to serve fish roe upon literal golden platters. If a pretty jewel or a sentimental item disappears in the process it can only be considered collateral to Hugo’s own personal collection.
Unfortunately no plan of his can ever go simply. There’s always a drawback in one form or another.
In this case the drawback comes in the form of a nearly seven foot tall wolf thiren who finds that he does not appreciate seeing Hugo dance with another man.

In some fraction of a sense, Seth Lowell was above average on the attractiveness scale, and his eyes were okay enough as is with that.
It just meant less competition, right?
As well as less girls and boys fawning over him, because he had already settled with someone who was much more attractive than them, but not attractive enough that they would start to get suspicious that, well, it was Harumasa who was pining, and not the other way around.
Well, he was, in a sense. It was Harumasa who was pining, but isn’t that embarrassing?
Big shot, handsome, prodigal genius Asaba Harumasa… yearning to be with an average cat thiren whose voice boomed ten times louder than it already was when debating ethicality and human morals? That assumption spreading around would be ego death, and while Harumasa wasn’t the kind to stray away from negative perceptions of himself–that still felt like a little too much.

Trauma from a previous heat partner has made it hard for Sapnap to trust and let his new alphas, Dream and George, help him. He gives them a chance though, hopeful that all will go well and he won’t have to experience another horrible heat.
