But Zoey's her hubae, and under no circumstances can she allow these thoughts to take hold in her mind.

Gwi-ma takes the opportunity to break who he sees as the weakest link of the trio with her own thoughts. Zoey begins to question what's real and what isn't and she blames herself for Rumi's pain. She later seeks out Mira and Rumi for comfort hoping it will relieve her of her pain.

The pantry melted into obscene sounds of wet skin slapping on clothed hips as Mira’s moaning grew louder and more desperate.
Strings of expletives poured from Mira’s mouth as her insides felt rearranged by Rumi’s phantom phallus.
Her body was burning up, her breathing so ragged she was nearly hyperventilating. The wired shelves dug into her skin, but even that pain melted into pleasure as her thoughts filled with Rumi.

Zoey is homesick for her Christmas roadtrips she had growing up with her dad, having not gone since coming to live full time in Korea as an idol and hunter. Her dad offers her to visit for their Christmas road trip once again, and Rumi and Mira support her going, but she only agrees on one condition. Her WHOLE family has to come, as has always been the tradition.
Zoey’s puppy dog eyes and guilting skills prove effective.
