Tony inhaled sharply, then held his breath. Was he really going to use that voice? The same voice he used for those stupid videos the government asked Captain America to play. Wade didn’t start laughing, so there were still chances they didn’t watch those videos at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters.
What a pompous, mouthful title, he thought with indignation. I should go visit them, to talk about names and their importance. That wasn’t the point anyway: he was the one who wanted to giggle, really.

Penny startled awake, blinking rapidly at the darkness that surrounded her and the head-splitting migraine. She let out a low whine as the pain came into focus, moving to grip at her head but instead blinking in confusion when she realized that her hands were cuffed.

Steve could already tell he hated this mission. Infiltrating and freeing bases, putting the good in the world the Accords had tried to stop him from doing was his responsibility, but being huddled in a small and cramped dog cage, cuffed and gagged. Well, it wasn't enjoyable to say the least. The cages all piled next to each other, and he knows he will eventually save and free these strangers.
Though one, he finds out, isn't as much a stranger to him as he thought.AKA Penny and Steve both get kidnapped and taken to a mutant fighting ring while Tony tracks them down.

Tony Stark is not at all bitter about being a submissive. Not at all. Why should he be? Sure, his whole life has been one shit show after another, because he is a sub, but why would he be bitter about it? No. Reason. At All.
Then he meets "The Avengers" a group of people helping abused subs. They are good people. Even the two Doms working there.
Not that Tony notices them or anything. They might look like they fell right out of his dreams, but it's not like he is interested, you know.
And who would ever want someone as broken as him?
(This is not an original set up. But I really wanted to write it. So: hurt, comfort, boys in love, lots of sarcasm and people being protective of Tony. There will be no magical healing because he got boyfriends. But he will get better, he will have help!)

Peter and Harry Osborn are the ‘it’ couple of New York City. Everyone knows the story of the rich son of a businessman sweeping his childhood best friend off his feet and then they live happily ever after. It seemed to be a modern-day fairytale. The wedding was private, but the reception was the largest party of the year, even larger than New Year's Eve.
Everyone knows them, and everyone knows exactly what Peter means to Harry.

Peter remembered Ben's death clearly.
It was the trauma that triggered his mutation.
His closest friends and family knew about his secret identity, but not even they knew about the empathetic abilities. It was why he couldn't reveal to Wade the truth about being Spider-Man, why he felt the pressure of his fathers so keenly, and why he felt his duty to his aunt and daughter so strongly. He felt all of what they felt and more.
Some secrets couldn't be kept forever. This was one of them.
The Goblin would soon see to that.
