Summary
A series born out of my frustrations on canon and how it sometimes glosses over life within the Empire. In order for cohesion, all these stories a.) are set at some point when the Empire has power, b.) have Wedge Antilles appear or referenced in some way, and c.) are meant explore to things that either are implied to have happened in the Empire or are likely to have happened. Thus, by its very nature this series deals with sometimes heavy topics and reader discretion is advised. Stories are sorted by their timeline within Star Wars and not when I've actually published them. Every story can be read as a standalone, unless specified otherwise by me in the opening author's notes.

Summary
Set over the three days of Ferrix's main holiday, Brasso and Cassian arrive in a situation Brasso never expected. He is forced to evaluate anew his feelings about and his relationship with the enigmatic young man who has returned from youth prison and the horrors of Mimban with - to put it mildly - a whole new range of issues to add to his existing trauma. Brasso wants to help. Brasso is kind and selfless. But Brasso is himself vulnerable and far less strong than his appearance and outward character might indicate. His decision to help Cassian in whatever way he can has long-term consequences for them both.
Set several months after Cassian's return from Sipo Youth prison and Mimban, and in the wake of his first romance - and subsequent break-up - with Bix.
