Geralt grieves, and regrets, and desperately tries to do right by Ciri. Elsewhere, Jaskier rescues a handsome witcher from a tree, gets into trouble, takes up the name of the Sandpiper, and finds solace in a kindred soul - not necessarily in that order. Eskel just wants to make it home to his brothers, his father, and Geralt, and keep their bard alive while doing it.

Incomplete but it stops in a hopeful place so it's not an unsatisfying read. Eskel, Jaskier and Geralt are very well written and the Leshy was such a cool concept. Hopeful for more some day but worth another read as is.
