Summary
There’s a war in the Magical world, and James should really be focusing on his work for the Order and on keeping his friends safe. But his thoughts won’t stop spinning, and he’s charged with a restless and destructive energy that he just can’t shake. At least not until he runs into Regulus Black at a Muggle gay bar. Regulus is off limits and bad news, and the idea that he shouldn’t is the only thing James needs to follow Regulus home.
What starts out as a reckless way to release tension quickly turns into a romance that should never be because Regulus is a Death Eater – and more importantly – Sirius’s brother. Except Regulus doesn’t want to be a Death Eater, and James was never very good at avoiding the things he should.

And Talia had made that happen for him.
(AU where, at the end of his League of Assassins training, Jason decides to go to Metropolis for college instead of going back to Gotham for revenge. Things spiral from there. The title is so sarcastic by the way. There’s nothing regular about Jason Todd.)

Summary
So, it didn’t start out like this.
Alfred would scoff at the statement, about how Bruce was trying to justify the whole situation to himself. It had started out as a simple design, black everything with black outlines and black hood. It got a little more intense as the world went on, got wind of his ghost on the streets, and became scared of The Bat . So Bruce got a little more creative with it, Alfred and him had a good laugh over the name, the scare, and Alfred had a vicious streak of humor that he had passed onto his ward-
So now the suit had a visible bat-theme, an insignia to drape in the shadows and to paint across the streets of Gotham.
It only took a year into the whole charade of heroism for Bruce to overhear a conversation between some goons- some low level thug hired by the Riddler this week- about nothing at all pertaining to what the hell the Riddler was doing in the sewers but instead:
“ The Batman can fly, you know, I’ve seen his wings.”
