    Future!fic. Humanity has spread out amongst the stars, and Nile and her team are struggling to figure out where they fit in: out in the furthest reaches of the galaxy, or home on Earth with those who still remain. Dreams of a new immortal don't exactly simplify matters.

    "Think it's time to get the band back together?" Nile asks.

    "As if Nicky or Joe would let us collect the new kid without them." Booker regards her steadily. "Think it'll be enough to get Quỳnh back on a ship?"

    "Guess we'll find out. Because…"

    She hesitates, as though saying it aloud will make it too real. So Booker says it for her.

    "Because that desert was nowhere on Earth," he finishes. "And the girl in our dreams wasn't human."

    This story jumps off from the night of the hotel scene and continues to explore Even and Isak's emotional/psychological states during that painful week up until the church concert scene. What was going through Even's mind? How was he dealing with his manic episode and subsequent depression? I also wanted to bring in some visuals since that is one Even's primary ways of communicating. I also do not claim to be in anyway an expert on Bipolar Disorder but wanted to try and understand Even's character a little more through the lens of his manic and depressive episodes.

    Story includes visuals, poetry, 3rd person and 1st person POV chapters. I am approaching this in collage fashion.
