Series spanning (so far) the time from the marriage of Thranduil, and the fall of Eregion to the Early Fourth Age. Began as pure Gimli/Legolas, but has grown to include other characters and their stories.
Now continues into the Fourth Age, up until approximately the year 2000.
Very weird elves, with their non-human culture.
Ordered by chronology to the characters, rather than date written. Some stories overlap time-periods, but are from different viewpoints, or written with different ratings.

Summary
Modern or semi-modern AU.
Two strands really - the song-fic-titled stories are (often) Legolas/Gimli centric, though not always, and take place now-ish, in a modern world where elves, men, dwarves, hobbits all co-exist. The -Glory titled stories are Glorfindel or Glorfindel/Erestor centric, and usually (no promises) involve a daring exploit (or two) as told by Our Hero, and perhaps some other stuff, as told by his listeners. Set in the same universe, they should all link up.
Not written in chronological order, either of events, or the telling of events, though I will try to order the series so that it can be read through and make sense.

About ten years too late to this fandom, but i love the characters so much......pre-canon, canon-time & post-canon.
I'd like to think you don't need to know the canon that well, (or at all?) to enjoy it. Better still, go & watch. It's worth it.Chasing Cars - Snow Patrol - i heard this song & it crystallised everything i saw in these two.

In exchange for saving him, Hermione gave Sirius only one instruction: “We can’t interfere,” she insisted. “If anyone finds out you’re alive before the right time it will ruin everything.” Too bad that Sirius Black was never very good at respecting rules.
Of course, if he had followed the rules, he wouldn't have discovered that Remus Lupin has apparently taken his death rather badly.

So here you have it: An AU set during the summer/autumn of 2013 – which here is the summer after OotP. Oh, and Sirius definitely survived the battle at the Ministry.
Rated M for excessively naughty language, irresponsible use of alcoholic beverages, and lots of smut.
