Summary
When nuclear fire consumed the world, much of the Defense Intelligence Agency was wiped out. Those who survived did so in top-secret bunkers and facilities, deep underground and hidden from the outside world. Over time, these last remnants would venture out into the wastes, slowly dying off one by one from violence or disease or age, until the DIA was no more. Eventually, the secrets of the old world would fade into obscurity, forgotten and never to be remembered.
Well. Forgotten by all but one.
AKA the story of a pre-war cyborg in an unfamiliar post-war wasteland.

“Oh, I don’t know…” Harding rolled her eyes before clearing her throat and dropping her tone into a comically low, gruff octave. “Neve, you’re injured. You’re a liability. Stay with the Veil Jumpers. I'm Rook and I don't know how to express myself.” Harding finished her impression of Rook, quirking an eyebrow. “Sound familiar?”

Summary
Artemis has spent several short lifetimes chasing knowledge and seeking revenge throughout the multiverse. As she embarks on her seventh journey, she begins to doubt her own motivations for becoming Starborn.
In this universe, Constellation is almost exactly the same as she remembers, reminding her of the relationships she left behind. Perhaps this could this be her chance to turn her back on the Unity once and for all. Perhaps, if she is able to recover her humanity and rekindle her friendships, she will be content to stay.
And perhaps, this time, she will be able to prevent the tragedy which sparked her hatred for the Hunter and destroy him once and for all.
