Five Times the Marquis of Wu’an Was Feared, and One Time His Marchioness Was Feared More by Baekbootie

Summary
The Dragon Throne stood empty.
In its stead, at the foot of the dais, sat the Prince Regent.
The Marquis of Wu’an did not need the throne to command the room’s attention or respect. Clad in dark robes embroidered with the finest gold thread, midnight hair tied up and adorned with a golden guan, he exuded an authority so absolute that no one dared mistake his position. His posture was flawless, his expression composed and unreadable.
Even in relaxation, he seemed like a dangerous predator, ready to strike.
And his gaze, when falling on a low-ranking official like him, was bone-chilling.

“I wondered if you might be able to… hint that Rozanov and I are friends. On my Instagram and other social media. So, once we announce it, the fans won’t be as shocked,” Shane said.
Nicole blinked. “You want me to soft launch that you and Ilya Rozanov are friends?”
“Soft launch?”
What was this life Nicole had found herself in? About to explain a soft launch to two-time MHL MVP Shane Hollander?
Rose tells Shane to hire her friend Nicole as his social media manager. Over many months, Nicole starts to notice that Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov might be a little bit more than rivals and friends.

“I’m right here. And you are okay, and you are safe, and healthy, and you are at home, yes? It is quiet, and nobody is there, nobody is bothering you. And the world is full of stupid idiots, but you are not one of them. And I am here. When you need me, I am here.”

The team has just come back into the locker room and Ilya is sitting in front of his stall, unlacing his skates, when his world changes.
“Oh, fuck,” Bood says. He’s got his phone in his hand and a stricken expression on his face. “The Metros plane had to make an emergency landing.”

Summary
Ilya knows there is a thing about himself he has to always keep hidden in the deepest recesses of his body, behind his molars and in his core. He thinks Shane Hollander might be the same, except the thing about him he cannot hide.
Ilya Rozanov is the biggest hockey talent of his generation. So is Shane Hollander.
But over the years Ilya notices that the vicious media and the clamouring fans and some of his more foul-mouthed teammates treat Hollander differently than any other hockey player.

Summary
Now thirty-one, Hollander is sitting across from me on a soft leather couch, part of a home study in the Muskoka lake house he owns. (His parents’ cottage, the one from his childhood, is a ten-minute drive away.) It’s a tastefully decorated room, with big ceiling-high windows that let in plenty of summer light, and walnut shelves full of books — mostly sports-related. Hollander looks at home here, dressed in a loose pair of light-wash jeans and a plain navy t-shirt, which shows off his impressive arm muscle. Everything is just the right side of comfortably casual.
When I initially booked this interview, I expected to be asked to meet in Ottawa, perhaps even New York, as Hollander has plenty of sponsorship deals that keep him busy, even in the summer months when hockey is on a break. I expected to be fitted in, that is. The current Alternate Captain for the Ottawa Centaurs has never given access like this before, and, frankly, I was unsure how much he’d be willing to share.

Summary
“Should call you the Ottawa Puppies,” says the Toronto centre, Svensson. As an insult it makes no sense, so Ilya ignores it, until he continues, “Hear Hollander keeps you on a short leash.”
Ilya is the captain, so if anything, he should be holding the leash. In English, you can be singular or plural, but he knows what Svensson is trying to say. He is saying Ilya Rozanov, you are Hollander’s bitch.
“Only sometimes,” Ilya replies, grinning. He wins the face off.
OR: Ilya trains himself to be a very, very good guard dog for Shane.

“Ilya Rozanov came out to you as bisexual earlier this year,” Harris said, like he was trying to make sure he got his facts straight. “And you didn’t mention it to your boyfriend.”
“I couldn’t just out him,” Troy said. “Also you weren’t my boyfriend yet. And I had a lot going on, okay?”
Harris stared.
“And he sort of told me about…?” Troy said, gesturing at the phone. “I mean, I sort of asked, and he didn’t say that it wasn’t, uh, happening. I don’t know. I guess I forgot about it.”
Harris flopped backward on the bed, both hands over his face.
“How,” he said. “Did you forget.”
A very fluffy fic in which Harris Drover is all of us. Takes place toward the end of The Long Game & has MAJOR spoilers for that book.

Ody-sseus.
Odysseus.
Jason stared, just as the name clicked in his head.
…This guy was Ulysses?
After sacrificing himself to save Apollo, Meg, and Piper from Caligula, Jason is transported to Ancient Greece, in an alternate universe where demigods are extremely rare due to the sheer difficulty of a successful demigod pregnancy.
The exact location and time period he's been transported to? Smack in the middle of The Odyssey on Odysseus' ship, right before the crew lands on Helios' island. And when Zeus arrives to cast judgement, he comes face-to-face with a demigod, young and mortal and inexplicably, undeniably his.
Jason thinks that Zeus couldn't care less about him.
Unfortunately for him, he's about to be proven very, very wrong.

Summary
Felix is the lead singer of Wayward, the most exciting, refreshing new pop-punk band on the scene. Chan is the lead singer of Renegades, the moody, grunge-rock powerhouse.
And they can’t fucking stand each other.
The force behind the cogs that turn the music industry is brutal, and it shows no mercy in pushing the two together.
But can they work out their differences, or are they merely destined to collide and burn as the world crumbles around them? What about their band members, dragged into this feud without knowing why?
And, most pressingly; what the fuck happened that made Felix and Chan hate each other so much?

Jisung loves this, loves the screams and loves the moment they stop just as much, the moment when he starts singing and it's just him and his guitar and the microphone. The only people that exist in that instant are the crowd in front of him and his boys behind him, Jisung in the middle, suspended in their love like amber.

Summary
It’s desperation that drives Felix to place himself at the mercy of someone he has no right to expect kindness from. Six months on the street with his funds running low, if one of his father’s men doesn’t kill him then the oncoming winter will. Going to Chan is a decided risk, he might put a bullet in Felix's skull instead of taking on the job he's offering, but— well. At least that death will be quick.
But Chan doesn’t kill him. He gives Felix shelter, gives him a home. And Felix finds himself in way too deep with a man who doesn’t even fully know who he’s falling for.
