Gwaine tightens up even more on protection in the hope they have an enjoyable trip with no problems. Before they go Arthur is given an award and has to go to Palace to collect it.

Summary
Now back from their latest long trip the Ygraine goes in for a major refit. The dukes catch up on home life and Arthur talks Merlin into going on TV, which doesn't go well. But then they get the offer of a trip round the coast of both North and South Ireland on the Catha 1 with Alitor, Finna and Aithusa. This time although they do run into trouble it is aimed at Alitor and not the dukes. But it causes problems for all of them. Gwaine, Percy and Albin to get arrested.

Arthur and Merlin decided to let the crews of his two yachts Ygraine and Dragonlord to choose the places to visit on their next trip. So the Caribbean, Mexico, West Coast of USA, Alaska and the North West passage it was to be. It was a full Yacht as they were all going on the Ygraine until they reached the North West Passage. They also had guest who was an employee of Sunseeker who had been invited to go on part of the trip. Would they actually have a peaceful trip this time? The men did seem to be trouble magnets.

In which BBC Merlin's characters get the Hallmark movie treatment. In Scotland. Because Arthur obviously needs to wear a kilt and strut around the highlands looking pretty.

Summary

Summary
Born with many inherited health issues, Merlin Emrys had dedicated much of his life to environmentalism and vigilante hacking. He is hired as a token environmental adviser for Albion Enterprises LTD in the aftermath of a tell-all book published by the CEO’s daughter. There, he meets Arthur, the CEO’s son, and is swept up into a whirlwind friendship and blossoming romance. It’s something he never intended — especially since he plans to hack the company from the inside. And, most especially, because Merlin is determined to be single for his entire life. But, he is drawn to Arthur, and Arthur is drawn to Merlin. They fit together. It's almost like they are two sides of the same coin. With so many things separating them and yet so many things drawing them together, Arthur and Merlin's destiny remains uncertain. Even as, once again, the future of Albion (Enterprises) rests on both their shoulders.

Summary
In the heat of battle against Morgana and her army, Merlin discovers hereto unknown Dragonlord powers. With the army defeated Merlin flees Camelot, knowing he won't be able to return home until he figures out his to reverse his transformation into a dragon.
Gwaine last saw Merlin where the dragon appeared, he's devastated to realise Merlin is missing once the battle is over. Presumed kidnapped (and feared dead), Gwaine is only too eager to accept Arthur's orders to track down and slay the dragon, and bring Merlin home.
Realising Merlin and the dragon are one and the same, Gwaine has to unlearn his prejudices before he can accept Merlin for all he is.

Summary
After Arthur disobeyed his father and retrieved the Mortaeus flower for Merlin's cure, Arthur's frantic pleading to save Merlin led to a misunderstanding that actually convinced Uther to take the flower to Gaius.
Now all Arthur has to do is explain to Merlin why Uther thinks they are lovers.
And while Uther is supportive of the relationship, he requires it kept secret. But in his paranoia, Uther misinterprets every innocent interaction between the two as something far more intimate, to the embarrassment of everyone involved.
And then the knights begin showing up...

Arc 1 - (chapters 1-32, 90k words) What happens when you accidentally tell your father you're gay and in love with Merlin and he ships it hard? You make it true.
Arc 2 - (chapters 33-70, 110k words) What happens when your father sends you to court someone you have no interest in? Side quests and Gwaine.
