He would have asked her what was gone if he didn't feel the exact what in question.
If he didn't feel the deep stirrings of hunger still sitting in his gut, twisting and pulling at him until he felt weak to its draw. If he didn't find his eyes inadvertently wandering to the exposed bronze flesh of Star's throat when Laddie thoughtlessly pushed her hair back as he flung his tiny arms around her neck.
Even with David's lifeless body some 30 feet away from him, all Michael could think about in that moment was the boy's words mere days ago:
"But you must feed."

With a hand engulfed in flames, he makes a deal. He’ll pretend to be human, and work beside Ford, solving paranormal crimes, in return, Ford will teach Bill what it means to be human.

Summary
Two years after weirdmageddon, and two years since bill was sentenced to the theraprism, he's finally getting somewhere with his therapist. Well. As much as he can. He still needs a lot of work. Out of options and frankly tired, his therapist decides maybe he needs to face the root of the problem head on and make amends with the pines family. Hes sent to live with them against his will in order to try to better himself anyway he can. The problem: he wasn't expecting to see any of them ever again. Especially ford. He's not exactly ready to face them just yet, especially in a state where he's far less powerful than the last time they met.
(If there's any sort of spelling mistakes anywhere it's because the autocorrect on my phone is genuinely dumb and I'm only realizing now it autocorrected words that are real words into other words for some reason and I don't wanna go find them all T.T) -
