ik this is a 007n7 fic but looollll these two are the duo i've never expected but I like them together
“Matt’s gonna hate hearing that..” Shedletsky muttered.
Two Time gave a slow, knowing smile, the kind that always looked halfway between gentle and unnerving. “As much as our dear divine pumpkin friend says he hates The Spawn, I know deep down that he is as faithful as me.”
Shedletsky exhaled through his nose, adjusting his grip on the sword at his side. “Yeah, well, tell him that when he’s done yelling at you in rhyme.”
“Rhyming is but another form of devotion.” Two Time countered smoothly. Their tone carried no malice– only a quiet certainty, like someone describing the color of the sky. “He serves in his own way, as I do in mine.”
“The past binds only those who fear to face it.” Two time said serenely, apparently catching just enough of the conversation to interject. “Faith is freedom from such chains.”
Shedletsky groaned. “Do you ever not sound like a fortune cookie?”
Two Time smiled faintly. “Only when the message is worth hearing.”
“Uh huh.”

((The title is based on the song Fellow Feeling by Porter Robinson, which is kind of the vibe I wanted to go for with this fanfic. ^^ Also, I've been working on this fanfic for a while seeing so little DecoyDagger fanfics/fanart out there, I hope you all enjoy it.))
