I wish I could say this was from a random prompt generator, but I actually came up with it myself. I am hopeless. Jowan never asked to be born a mage, Fenris never asked to be born a slave. When fate intertwines their lives, what will become of everyone's favorite Broody Elf and Blood Mage. Such a crack!Pairing. Rated for slavery and violence/torture, and the non/con tag is there jut to be safe. Danarius is a pretty brutal character after all and in chapters involving him there are bound to be references to non-consensual situations. Chapters which include these situations will have warnings, of course. I may continue this story through the end of DA2 but please be prepared for some time skips! :)

Fenris only becomes a man with the Fog Warriors, away from his master and given the gift of self-determination. In Minrathous, he switches between a masculine warrior and a hyperfeminine bed slave, and doesn’t understand why he much prefers the first option. After escaping Seheron, he starts to move towards southern Thedas, with a first stop in Antiva, where he meets Zevran Arainai and learns to be a person for the first time, and then ending up in Kirkwall, where he meets Hawke, the woman he falls in love with while trying to hide his manhood as something self-made.

Sometimes, all you can do is to try to hold on to things you have, even as the world crumbles around you. It doesn't help when you're getting feelings for your closeted roommate.
But life doesn't wait and in the end, Fenris walks away. Guitar slung on his back, life packed in cardboard boxes. All he's left with is a letter and a burnt CD. And a maybe.
